your calculations are incorrect, car would run 3-5 miles max on a full battery. it was proven mathematically on dawn. No car runs that much on battery, it would have made petrol pumps obsolete.
No my calf's are spot on. For starter battery -!t is power intensive. Not meant for energy. So if it is 1 kwh it will drive car for 5 mikes. I just gave example of a 40 kwh battery - 200 wh per mile. You can do the calcs

Not sure what your point is. I have repeatedly asserted batter to electrolysis to h2 to ice route is highly inefficient
In one of my earlier list I used started batery wiith 1 kwh - 250 watt-hours energy available after h2 combustion. That is 1 Mile distance. Then battery has to be recharged! Recent example I gave was for a hypothetical 40 kwh battery - such ss used in nissan leaf. Even that can power car for only 25 -50 miles Max. Then needs recharge.
So electrolysis route not feasible - I think we agree on that. Might as well use a large 40 kwh batterycutting out eke trolysis and ICE steps was my point. Of course after 100-200 miles battery still needsxrecharging.

In the first interview, Dr Atta was trying to argue with him that the battery won't last more than 2 hours max. But he said that he can run the car all the way to Lahore without charging.
Looks like there is more to it than just carbide.

Look you guys … The dude didn’t even look like an engineer … They put together a fairly simple formula that works, but it is not feasible … The additive is probably a catalyst to lower the electrolysis point of water … the part that shocked me the most was his direction in using pure distilled water … 
electrolytically that is al out inert to split pure water requires about 40 to 50 times the energy than the h2 would yield from combustion. However simply putting salt into it lowers that energy because the water behaves like an electrolyte, but then you get messy side products like bleach and chlorine … So his insistence in using pure water was so the catalyst does the work …otherwise his method is not a fraud … He just didn’t go the extra mile to work out the overall efficiency of the mechanism.
Nuclear to hydrogen fuel or solar and hydrogen fuel is one consideration also … Methane plus solar is another consideration … But methan is not that high in calorific value … H2 is quite explosive … Very high in calorific value.

It is proven false to you and me. But actually there are a lot of people who still believe in that hoax.
Also, Altaf congratulated him BEFORE it was proven false to you and me. He did it when the whole country was throwing accolades in him. Besides, he probably wanted to make his Sindhi brethren happy by doing so.
Another thing is that it is not just Altaf who congratulated him. But Spock, as usual, could not help but post about the only party he hates more than Jeay Sindh, BLA or Taliban.
