What exactly is the your friend’s problem then? If they are both attracted to one another physical and emotionally, then what’s wrong with marrying a gori? In fact, we have several members here who are in mixed marriages. Heck according to Islam, he doesn’t even have to worry about converting her. Why is he not willing to consider Indian/Bengali/Arab girls? Instead of worrying about what other other men are doing and making judgments on their looks/personality, your friend needs to focus on finding that one girl where MUTUAL attraction and common future goals exist…regardless of whether she’s Pakistani or not.

P.S. I know guys who are high school graduates and have low paying hourly wage jobs, and yet still manage to go to Pakistan and come back with beautiful young brides. Thus I find it hard to believe that your good looking friend with an amazing body and good paying job can’t name to find someone of Pakistani origin.

I am sure you will find this Pakistani background guy attractive, most of the local media raves about his good looks, he has a degree in Anthropology, Pakistani girls didn’t pursue him when he was dirt poor but a blondie did, would I want his life for my friend ..NO!!! he doesn’t even get a SAMMICH..haha…and she roams around scantily dressed with assets out there surrounded by other men. By the way he’s way more successful than any doctor I know and has a high intellect also, doctors /engineers don’t hold proprietorship on intellect!!!Tell me if you think he is attractive.
Forgot to mention he was an athlete also, brawn does not mean you have no brains, that is kind of discrimination(RV)

I’m not sold on this story.
Unless he’s living in a remote part of the world…there are plenty of middle class families/gals that do not demand high end degrees. They ask for a decent guy that can support their daughter. And more often than not a family will bend their rules if the girl is staunch on her choice and he’s not a degree-holder.

I think your friend is simply not the catch that you make him out to be or he’s aiming for a category that ultimately will never accept his terms.

Also, not all older men are unattractive as your friend describes. Some older men take quite good care of themselves and are in better shape than many young men. Two words for you: George Clooney. Daniel Craig, the gentleman who plays James Bond, is another such example.

Not to give shawn/harris/etc any more fuel, but most older desi men don’t look like George Clooney or Daniel Craig or Brad Pitt. (and just so I CMA, yes yes they’re still loveable and have life partners and blahblahbla)

I would question any man who stays in a marriage where his wife behaves in such a way.

• why would he lose the kids? if he’s a good father and loves them then he should fight for custody. particularly if he can prove that his wife has no morals. in fact, that’s all the more reason for him to remove the kids from the company of such a bad example.
• if he’s staying in a relationship for money then we can see where his motivation lies…another quality that he shouldn’t be bragging about. I’d prefer a man that chooses a modest lifestyle with dignity and self-respect over a lavish but empty life.
• of course it’s fine that I don’t like his looks…or his character. thanks for putting your stamp of approval on my opinion.
• Amir Khan was being compared to George Clooney and Daniel Craig for Sara. And while I don’t know Amir personally but from what is publicly known about him I would hazard to say that in terms of character analysis and morality, Khan would stand head and shoulders above your Neanderthal of a friend.

I have this friend he is very active and has an amazing physique, he is in the trades by profession and makes a good living. He is having a real hard time finding a Pakistani girl rishtas, most of the girls that he is interested in end up marrying some wealthy doctor or engineer, who are mostly repulsive looking and devoid of any personality, with bad attitude to top it off. He told me about this girl that married a doctor 15 yrs her older and had man boobs (moobs). Why don’t thee guy ever go to the gym.

He is really popular amongst the western girls and has always been pursued by very good looking gori girls, I am a bit perplexed by this, how come he is so sought after here but not so popular amongst the Pakistani girls. He is a real Gem of a guy at heart also and would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. He is starting to get really dejected and will soon end up with a gori girl. What are Pakistani girls looking for in a guy.
