I've used their services a few times, as you probably already know they are'nt cheap, been happy with their services thus far, do share some pix come october please.

oh no i dnt wana ask sumting the gal that mailed me wanted to know bot them! yh i have used dem to.
Not sure why people pay so much for mehndi and make up when you can get some up and coming artists that are so much better than all the established people. They don't just come and do the mehndi in an hour and go. They spend time with the person, they want to make it a happy mehndi occasion.
There is one artist i know, her name is Nassim and she is from mehndi nights, she is truly amazing at doing mehndi and makeup and has has always had amazing complements from the people i know that have used her services, and she actually enjoys being with the her clients instead of rushing and going.
In my opinion people only go for the likes of Ash or Jo for the name, so they can brag to their friends...ooooh you know who i had for mehndi, and then they realize it wasn't worth the money.
Do yourselves a favor, save the cash and get better mehndi done elsewhere.

Mehndi only with joshiv cost £450, I had to ask the lady if she was having a laugh but she wasn't. £450 for Mehndi is a ridiculous amount to pay, I told the lady for tht much money I would want her to tattoo it on my hands.
I payed £135 for my mehndi by a lady called Shagufta, who I met on chand raat on green st. and she did a syk job. I gave her pictures and she copied the exact same design. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a mehndi Artist in London she definitely gives Joshiv a run for her money!

I went to a valima last summer where she did the makeup. i really wasn't impressed, it looked like the bride had dabbled in some damp colours herself whereas on the baraat somebody else had done her makeup, she had looked radiant and glowing. I wish i could show you the pictures but i can't. sorry. i'd spend that money elsewhere. her forte is mehndi. not makeup. even ash kumar has started doing makeup. i mean come on!!

joshiv has had some really bad reviews.Unfortunately with fame people forget the real reason why they became famous. I have heard she rushes make up and also brings assistants with her who pass her brushes because she cant be bothered to pick them up!
someone i know had make up done from her...she ruined it and the bride cried.Joshiv said i cant do anything now its too late...so the bride had to wash it and her sister did the make up. As suggested before by others I would not just go for names but look at the quality of work..most of the magazine pics are airbrushed so all the work is not a true reflection of the make up artists talent.
wel i havnt experienced them maself bt iv heard a few reviews from other ppl..which again r not very gud!alot of ppl hav had a problem with the attitude that her and her staff have..and coz shes famous she thinks she can do what she wants and she dsnt listen to wot the bride wants at all!

i so agree with you! my wedding didnt happen in october so i didnt go with her bt the experiance i had was so bad. the trial was soo crap i culd do beta makeup me self. and shes still nt giving back my money even though i cancelled like weeks b4 the date!!!

We have read a lot of complaints about Joshiv Beauty on various forums. Readers may be interested to know that Bloomsbury Films has recently issued court proceedings again the company for unpaid debts. We are also aware Joshiv Beauty is in severe financial difficulty with other suppliers. I would advise brides or students considering booking Joshiv Beauty to read the blog on our website first (unfortunately forum doesn't permit url to be posted)

That is so true,most of these makeup artists show off their airbrushed looks and thats why they look so good.... hopefully people will notice that when booking an artist.

I attended her training course. In her training she cons u like mad. She tries to teach in between clients and does not have any course materials or course structure. How ridiculous is that . She is money hungry seriously. Please guys be careful before you sign up to her course its not cheap. Also the certificant she gives is just a Joshiv Certificate. Why not do a cheaper course with Luba, Sahara etc and get a proper beauty accredited certificate.... seriously guys i wanna help you out, dont want you conned like i have been conned
