Southie, as an example, if you ran a bakery and some skinheads came in wanting a cake filled with racial slurs, would you be okay with that?

I agree that there is discrimination against them because they are gay, but if we want to live in a world where people are free to express themselves, however much we may disagree with them, then let them be. You just ignore and move on.

As long as there isn’t any physical harm being done, people should be able to say as stupid a thing as they want, because it will just expose how dumb they are. Is it an ugly thing to do, yes. But is it worth a lawsuit? No.

They gay couple could have, instead, told people in the gay community to boycott that bakery. Suing for things like this is ridiculous IMO.

There is no ONE solution for every issue. Writing racial slurs and writing a positive message against homophobia are not the same. Boycotting is ONE option. Suing is another.

One should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

As I stated in one of the posts, I am not sure abt the legal aspects. But I have no doubt abt the moral aspect. And have no hesitation is labeling those who have been making statements about gays not being conducive with religion as following their religion rituals, but having no clue about what is Moral and decent. You don’t fit that category for decency is spelt partyslims.
