I like her clothes but I don't think they're worth buying for that much price. Besides, I have no intentions to hand out my money to elitists.

re: REVIEW: Allechant

i think their clothes are a bit OTT and lack good finishing.

re: REVIEW: Allechant

Her materials always look so plasticy

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

I dont like anything except the eye makeup and hair-do ideas she puts up on FB every other day :D

REVIEW: Allechant

Lol proto same here, although some dresses are nice, just recently they had put up someone’s pic wearing a replica of theirs and were basically shaming them :nono:
When some fans pointed this out and said it was wrong they just handled it very unprofessionally and replied back to a few girls very rudely. I found that very rude and unprofessional so therefore will not ever order from them due to this immature behaviour :chai:

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

too much pearls n stones, not my style

Allechant | Facebook

When I first saw their dresses, I like them. But I really don’t like their bridals, I prefer their simpler, plainer stuff

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

Yessss me too! Don’t like the stuff with too many emeralds and peals and bling. But their simpler stuff is really pretty!!

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

there are quite a number of “elite pieces” running business on facebook who are really rude to anyone questioning or suggesting anything sadly

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

waisay I just made a replica of her bridal dress for a client :hmmm:

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

I almost bought an outfit (only 1 I liked) earlier this spring but then thankfully came to my senses, I really don't like sehar's rest of the designs, too much kapra everywhere.....NEXT!!!

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

Salam Girls,
I have bought a dress from Allechant and it wasn’t the best experience at all. I liked designs from some of her earlier collection and ordered a dress. It was a green, full sleeved with embroidery on the neck area on chiffon. When I got the dress I noticed that the chiffon was ripping and in some places torn where it was stitched on. There was also a tear towards the bottom of the dress. The crinkle arms had this problems and so did the area near neck/chest embroidery. My mum looked at it and said she’s used a bad chiffon batch and I was pretty annoyed. I had thought that surely the designer would take more care considering she claims to use the best quality. I guarantee you, she herself would never wear a dress which was made from a chiffon kapra that was ripping near the embroidery and ripping from the strain for its stitching.
I paid around 38, 000 Rupees not including postage. Anyways I told her and she said send it back to fix so I did. I sent it over through a family friend and had my aunty parcel it back to save money. Anyway when I got it back the arms had been changed but it was a different shade to the rest of the dress. I don’t know what was going on but it seemed like a lazy attempt to me, maybe it was because I was an online overseas buyer, I dont know. Anyways I told her the shade is different and that the chiffon should be replaced as it was not of good quality at all. I know she uses good quality fabric as seen by pics on facebook so I gave her the benefit of doubt thinking maybe it was a bad batch. She again said we’ll fix it.
Anyway, this time round I couldn’t arrange someone to take it so I sent it over, having paid for postage myself in the hope it would all be fixed and I could leave it at that. I reminded her to replace the bad quality chiffon with a better one and ensure it was the same shade all over the dress. When she ‘fixed’ it I sent over 6500 Rs for postage so she could send it back to me. And when I get the dress, she changed the arms of the dress to make sure it was the same shade as the dress but made no attempt to replace the bad quality chiffon on the rest of the dress. She had added a complimentary spray on the dress, which was Ok but still the main issue was the bad chiffon on the rest of the dress which was not addressed. When I confronted her, she says, well I can’t do that I would have to replace the dress. I was like, well why didn’t you tell me before I sent the dress to you?
I found that she wouldn’t address every aspect of my texts/emails, whereas some vendors are really good at communicating. If I’d known she would not have bothered with replacing the chiffon all over the dress or attempt to fix the tears on the dress I would thought twice about sending it to her. When I confronted her, she was basically like well maybe it’s just tight on you. I said to her, I never complained about the fitting, that was OK the chiffon wasn’t. At one point she implied my aunty had worn it, which was just in my opinion a complete denial of the fact the quality of the fabric she used was bad.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience, at the end I was just over it, the embroidery was good, but the chiffon kapra is just sad to look at honestly. I cant afford to send the dress back and forth especially when the seller is just denying they ever made a bad dress. Im sure many have had good experiences with her and I’m sure she makes good clothing but if something is amiss with her designs, she needs to take more responsibility especially if she claims to be selling top quality stuff. The thing is I was willing to pay for quality which I didnt get, so it was just very disappointing. :pcg::pcg:

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

^That's pretty bad. You should post this review on their Facebook page....see how quickly they delete it though

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

^ I know, she would delete it and give impolite responses. Ive msged her saying ill return the dress and you make a replacement, she's like no I cant do that you can choose a dress within the same price range when you come here (she insists I come there), I said to her that I don't plan to visit Pakistan (not for at least two years due to uni) she just like well theres nothing I can do. The vibe I get from her is like there's no wayyy something could be wrong with anything I make, its just a really bad attitude to have, Im peeved but I don't its not worth it. Anyways that's my experience, Im not sure how others have had it :/

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

Wow that sucks.. the design label has become pretty famous now especially since that photographer irfan ahsan keeps posting pictures of sehar and her dresses. But to be honest, the inferior quality of the fabric and stones shows in the pictures.. the dresses just look glammed up because of the hair/jewelry/photography otherwise the designs themselves are nothing spectacular.

Re: REVIEW: Allechant

i asked the price for one of her dresses which was for rs.55000 which i thought was absurd..it just had some kaam on the sleeves and the back...so i decided to make a replica using the best chamose silk material but slight adjustments to the kaam placement..her backs are usually showing skin..so had that covered up...alhamdulillah it turned out veryy pretty..wore it just once on eid!and it cost me wayyy less than what she was charging:)
