why do girls wear revealing clothes? whats the purpose they are trying to achieve by wearing these kind of clothes. no one is that masoom and surely there is some sort of hidden agenda. maybe to get appreciations from a BOY FRIEND?
on a later note why do girls wear sleeveless shalwar kameez? i have one thing to say YOU DONT LOOK PRETTY OR ATTRACTIVE FOR THAT MATTER. its ugly to see your arms. and in some cases STRETCH MARKS. ANOTHER THING
WHAT PROMPTS A GIRL OR A WOMEN TO WEAR REVEALING CLOTHES ESPECIALLY A MUSLIM WOMAN OR GIRL WHEN ITS NOT ALLOWED IN ISLAM AND WE SHOULD COVER OURSELVES AND PROTECT OUR DIGNITY INSTEAD OF ADVERTISING IT!
Then there's the girls that wear revealing clothes and top it off with a hijaab........take a walk down any street in Blackburn.....you'll see what I mean....
Was there on Saturday and every woman/girl in this one fabric shop had on the tightest shalwar/pants kameez and was topped off with a "hijaab" which was soooo small..you could see all the neck and obviously the chest area wasn't covered...
WHAT's the point in this?
yh i have seen many ppl like that laso i wana give them a good old slap and tell them to stop being so offensive and also they have like heavy eye make up up the point of the hijab is that men do not be attracted towards u but the way they dress tauba
i dont get it either. over here u see girls with hijab n short sleeves or they r wearing the hijab with tight fitting clothes. And i see some hijabi gals holding their boyfren'z hands...kissing him ( not passionately).
Dont they know its not allowed or they just dont care and if they dont care...they shouldnt be wearing the hijab in the first place.
What about the women/girls who wear full purdah and do up their eyes sooooo much....
Someone at work (a gori0 mentioned it to me about a girl on morning television when the niqab debate was going on in Ramzan!
no wonder some goreh have trouble understanding why we do things when they get such conflicting displays of islam!
I said it's individuals interpreting it in their own way and that I cannot sit in judgement to comment on whether it's right or wrong...........
It's hard though, as when I started wearing hijaab I adapted the way I dress - didn't wear revaling stuff before but just longer sleeves etc etc - and then this girl downstairs in our office started wearing part time hijaab, and when she wore it she wore it with low necklines, tight tops, short tops 9where the top meets the waistband of the trousers so any movement shows flesh!.......
Allah SWT hum sabh koh nekh hidayat atah farmayeh (Ameen)
I think its all to do with changing fashions but i agree with wannabe_a_mum. Ive seen girls in London wearing hijaabs wearing the most fitted suit which really doesnt leave much to the imagination but with a hijaab. Even my hub just said whats the point of that-its just vanity.
The hijaabans here sound downright vicious and judgemental toward the non-hijaabans. I sense a tinge of arrogance in the tone, which defeats the whole purpose of trying to please Allah by covering up. If wearing a hijaab is going to do this to me I would rathar not! To me not wearing a hijaab is a lesser evil. Arrogance on the other hand God hates! Wearing a hijaab does not qualify you as a better muslim if you are going to look down on others and think yourself superior for donning it.
I just want to say that I AM NOT sitting in judgement of those that don't wear it......................all I am doing is expressing an opinion.
I couldn't be arrogant if I tried....wearing a hijaab doesn't change you.....you are still the person you always were it's just that your hair is not on display.
Remember that Islam tells women to dress modestly, so if anything we say/do educates at least one person that is good isn't it?
What’s wrong with sleeveless shalwar kameez? Why are arms ugly to look at??? and not everything is done for other people’s preference or approval, so you’re wrong in assuming theres a hidden agenda
I disagree. I dress up nicely even when I'm all alone at home, not expecting guests or anything. I dress according to the way I feel, i couldnt care less of what others think of me.
However, its your life. Why should one care what others think??
