Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

You say you want to move back when you are 30. If that is 10 years away, than there are a sh!t-load of housing schemes, and housing/apartment projects going on, most of which will be done within 5-7 years, if not earlier. If you want a full explanation for your answers, in full detail, I suggest you visit

Ask the same question there. Theres many Pakistanis (on the forum) living in Pakistan, some of whom work for these real estate comapnies who can answer your questions about homes, in more detail than probably anyone else on any forum.
From my own knowledge, apartments in Lahore are quite expensive. I would stick to a house.

As for the RLD, dude.. if you ever saw this RLD of Lahore, you would drop the idea of moving back to Pakistan forever. Have you ever seeen those paindoo actressed in lollywood films? They are all collected from this ‘RLD’ area, also known as Heera Mandi :yukh:

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

I have no real intention of entering an Asian RLD. Whilst some Asian girls are hot, that is almost always the westernized ones. "Asian" Asian chicks annoy me. Plus, I'm actually pretty big on "shame"-and paying for "services" is well below my dignity.

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

Any foreign qualified with ANY degree can get a pay of around 40,000+ PKR… in any call center, bank, marketing company etc… So its a lot easier for Foreign born expatriates to have a dream life here… with no petty work to do and just earn for being foreigners..

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

Will having an MA from a reputable university get me even more money?

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

An MA! You will be looked down upon. You have to have an Engineering degree, an MBBS degree, or an MBA to be called suitably qualified in our desi culture.

Anyways! Whatever! Home Sweet Home. I am out of home for about 7 years now but whenever I go back and step on my own soil, it is an amazing feeling.

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!

Thats not quite true.

Re: Returning to Pakistan-Q&A!
