I agree with you jizyah and zakat are two different things … where a Muslim gives zakat a dhimmi does not and where a dhimmi gives jizyah a Muslim does not …
The value in most cases of jizyah and zakat are the same. How can we say the jizyah is evil designed to ridicule dhimmis when the Muslims pay equivalent in zakat … if anything jizyah makes it financially fairer.
My initial point is that jizyah must be abolished by Isa (AS) or else it is not rightfully abolished.
