Residents to resist return of aunty Shamim

ISLAMABAD: The residents of sector G-6/1-4 on Saturday said they would strongly resist return of accused owner of a brothel Shamim Akhtar to her house in the area.

Addressing a news conference here at street 87 of sector G-6/4-1, the office bearers of Mohalla Committee said they have heaved a sigh of relief after Shamim left the house along with her family.

They alleged the quarter No. 303-C in the sector was being used as brothel by the family.

Other residents of the area said that they have called the press conference of our own will.

They said they along with residents of 45 other government quarters in sector G-6/1-4 have given applications to prime minister, interior minister and housing minister to cancel allotment of the government which was allotted to son of Shamim Akhtar. They said that son of Shamim Akhtar is an employee in the education department.

Asif Kamal, Chaudhry Shaukat and Nisar Ahmad before action taken by students of Jamia Hafsa were frightened of registering any complaint against Shamim and her family as she was an influential. “But now we have picked up courage,” they said.

The whole street was decorated with buntings and small flags. The residents of the area said they had made the arrangement to celebrate 10 days of ‘Nijat’ (Ashra-e-Nijat) following departure of Shamim Akhtar from the area.

They said their families particularly college and school going females had been feeling insecure due to objectionable activities of Shamim and her family. “We still fear she could return to her house by using her influence, therefore, the government should cancel allotment of the quarter,” they stressed.

Aunty Shamim’s kalejay ka tukra is the chand of Education department; this is the condition of our secular education system that Prostitution has infiliterated into education.

Not only this, but Aunty Shamim had firm relations with Law Enforcement Agencies that is why the resisdents were terrorized for their complaining against Aunty Jee.
Innocent girls are gang-raped in this Unfortunate Country and they don’t get any justice from the Collapsed system of justice.

People need more examples in the society as of the courage Jamia Hafsah students showed in order to curb the Social Obscenity and Injustice.

what did the eye witnesses see, and what are the eye witnesses supposed to see for this to become more than an accusation.

secondly, just because there are witnesses does not make someone guilty, one has to check the credibility of witnesses either and whether they are makin stuff up.

until that is done, an accused is an accused, ...and not guilty

What hypocracy...why weren't similar stringent judicial and miranda procedure invoked when Mush was handing over terror suspects kidnapped from their homes from all over Pakistan to his CIA/FBI patrons on mere hearsays...

If u knew your history u wud have known that terror suspects handed over by Mush were actually the creation of CIA/ISI during the so-called Afghan Jihad and Afghan civil war.

are you opposed to handing over people on the basis of hearsay? If you are then it is hypocritical of you not to support Shamim Bibi on the same basis.

i'll readily say that Mushi et al are wrong not to give terror suspects a fair trial.

Yeah tell that you Moazzam Beg, the Brit, and numerous other innocents handed over, by Mush's ISI for a mere $5000 a pop, who were then tortured and abused and in some cases killed and robbed of at least three years of their lives some are still languishing in american gulags....CIA/FBI needed bodies and had to show numbers, and Mush with all his artificial and pompous gallantry he uses to initimitade his own people, had no gutts to stand upto his paymasters...

I never supported secret evidence and all, going back to even before the war of/on terror.

so now coming back to this lady's issue, I read this as agreement that right now she is being ostracized by her neighbours for no reason, and that she is innocent until proven guilty.

In the event her guilt is not established, she can sue these folks for defamation of character. right?

She is innocent till proven guilty. The state needs to protect her right to free movement.

teh state needs to provie her with security, whether she lives in her neighbourhood or somehwere else, state needs to charge and arrest the kidnappers etc.

Does anyone remember MQM erecting gates on street corners in Karachi during NS tenure? How did he deal with that? What sort of impact did it have on his govt?

sorry man your facts are not quite right. many of th gates were not by MQM but by residents of the streets who wanted to increase their own security.

the human rights violations committed in the two military adventures in karachi were horrible.

As I have stated before about lal building, the pace should be gassed, running rats should be arrested and those who try to run away should be slapped around, and those who dare to attack law enforcmenet should be killed on the spot.

govt does not have the cojones to do that.

I read that in the Benazir’s autobiography b4 coming here. That spoils the whole book for me. Why am I not surprised though. :unsurprised:

Exactly!
These people have their sympathy with a Prostitute and they are talking about human rights in order to protect the Aunty, but at the same time suggesting govt to violate human rights of the people of Laal Masjid. They want proof that the Aunty is guilty while they have given their verdict that Laal Masjid or its associated Madrasah is built on illegal land. Where is their proof to that?
Secondly, the Residents of the Area where Aunty Shamim ran her brothel, don't want her back, they all are Eye-Witness to her crimes; even if the Nephews think that Aunty is still innocent, why they don't sue Laal Masjid people and go to court, lol?

Well, I challenge, they are not going to go to the court, as their Aunty will grow more famous there, as her crime is so open and public. That is the reason why Aunty's Police didn't register an FIR against her rather the residents were harrassed for their complaints against the Aunty Chheema Baai.

alleged, not proven, and alleged by people, avg citizens, until there is a course she is not even charged, and until she is convincted she can not be called that.

because the people accusing the lal masjid and other assorted rats of building illegally are the govt authority that monitors this stuff, who has the authority, the records and proof. go ask them for the proof. how come the lal masjid ppl dont show proof that they ahve not built illegally.

Brothel owner’s book may ruin marital lives of many a Pak parliamentarian!

Islamabad, Apr 28 : Marital lives of a large number of male parliamentarians in Pakistan are said to be on the verge of being ruined because of a book that's been written by a brothel owner in Islamabad, who claims that most of the MNAs were on her client list!

** The book, to be published by the Oxford University Press, is written by Aunty Shamim, the brothel owner who claims to possess the richest clientele list of this sort in Pakistan. Her clientele includes majority of MNAs, besides senior Army officers and judges.**

** The news of Shamim publishing such a book has given driven down the spine of many such MNAs who fear that their names would be surely included in the book. The gravity of the situation could be gauged from the fact that the MNAs who sit on Treasury benches recently discussed the issue with none other Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.**

National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain was also reportedly present when the matter was discussed at the residence of Nasrullah Khan Dareshak, following a dinner reception.

** One of the ruling MNAs said that the publication of the book could trigger a large number of divorces with majority of the lawmakers being separated from their wives. “Mr prime minister, there would be at least 200-300 divorces if Aunty Shamim’s book gets published,” The News quoted him as saying. **

The lawmakers, who were present on the occasion, noted with concern that the fear of being exposed looms large over the Parliament Lodges that houses the rich clientele of Aunty Shamim.

As the discussion by the MNAs was on, the Prime Minister inquired about the whereabouts of Aunty Shamim. “Do you know where Aunty Shamim is right now,” he asked his treasury colleagues who turned their heads towards each other, as if they did not know.
