Why doesnt the government look into the claims made by neighbours? You cant just guard the rights of the accused. Run an investigation , although after reading ehsan's posts that seems highly unlikely. If the government chooses to act passively , it should cut its loses when people start taking law into their hands.

If the case is such, then one has to say that these Ninja chic have done good job and government should do something about Aunty Shamim. Nevertheless, I still believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty. I feel to keep quite and see what reality comes out with time (my understanding of Islam compels me to keep quite). I fear that if all accusations are lies, believing and commenting on such lies could be problematic after death. [Akhir marnay kay baad, her amal ka jawab tou daynaa hay na? Have you got any idea how reliable is this Big News network.com? Are they working under any monitoring authority? Free lance media under no monitoring body can produce juicy stories from anywhere, without any journalistic proof. The story in Big News could be juicy story created to exploit the situation or maybe true, cannot say.

When people oppose those who want to curb Adultery and Fornication, they indirectly support the Brothels. Obviously they can't have their say in clear words, they use the deceptive ways to express themselves. The people of Karachi know the dark past of Altaf Husain, he is a characterless man, but he stages a rally in Karachi, because he doesn't want to get hanged by Islamists for his crimes.

I guess, Aunty Shamim might have tried with this ‘threat’ of the book to send a message to her clients (Feudals, Bureaucrats, Army Generals etc) that
