One other reason that has a profound impact on my life is the daily debates with my wife regarding Islam and Muslims. Although, I have been successfull in making her see the plight/position of the muslims, it still caused some tension in my household.

That’s just terrible.

2. It cost me a promotion…here are the words of my manager at that time “Kaleem, I could not convince the brass that such a prominent and critical position be given to a muslim”…this was October, 2001.
