“Poor guy”, are you kidding me!!?? This is the mentality that is destroying womens’ lives. What about the life that he ruined???
I know someone who’s husband ( part of the family, unbelievable , yes) came and left her 2 days after, she reported him to the US immigration and took back the process. What she had going was a “conditional green card”, so she was lucky she applied for that (not with the intention that he might leave, but that is easier i think to get , its fiance visa) .. and he is now ILLEGAL in America 
So he can’t do anything! He is surviving doing under the table jobs.
These jerks deserve it! They ask for it. Why let them off easy?

so now he deserves to go to jail? Did he put a gun on her head for her family said yes to the marriage? NO responsibility of choosing a wrong guy is upon her or her family, right?

I know, it’s hurt when you trust/love someone and they take you as granted and obviously its your life and decision will be yours but If I was in your place I would let him go.He did what he felt morally and what will be the difference in you and him If you does the same thing he did? ruining life of a person either way? if the person is a bad spouse, why not just leave them? let them sort out their own immigration issue. I wouldn't report them to any federal authority though because that's too cruel.
or you know, if he's a total jerk, then why not. they deserve it.

you have to prove your case in the court of law...if he did NOT commit any crime, you have no option, i'm afraid. it's law here in Canada and i'm sure similar laws exist in the US or any other western country.

When I got married (nikah no rukhsati at that time) I was PR then, Rukhsati upon his arrival so I could complete my studies.. As he was my cousin so no doubts in my/my parents mind ..when he arrived here he declared that main ne to abhi be nahin ana tha laikin visa na expire hogaye to..log itnay lakhon laga ker attay hein… " really what about me? It looks like he got married to GC and I was a “bonus”

Pardon my naivety, but arent most, if not all, 'US citizen girl marries Pakistani guy' marriages done so that the guy can get a green card? Whether you are marrying a cousin from Pakistan, or someone else, they are in it almost always for the green card, and the american citizens know it!
If you dont want to stay with him, just file for a divorce, and get it over and done with. Dont get malicious and vindictive. What goes around, comes around.

I have friends who can't get into the country just because these guys do this kind of stuff. Its his own fault for manipulating you.

What is actual meaning of ruining someone's life?
Life is more then right to live in US or any other country, so if she report him and the person has to leave US that does not means end of his life. By reporting him she is helping other potential victims by making a statement that CRIME DOES NOT PAY. Hopefully it would deter others to do same with innocent victims.

I have heard several cases where people do that.. if he got the 10 year green card, there is nothing you can do about it until he applies for citizenship or renewal of green card!!

Yes, report him, if he ated deplorably towards you, teach him a lesson, these kind of people need to learn they cannot treat people like this, they need to learn some principles and values. Get him deported he doesnt deserve any benefits
