in the UK, who should be contacted to report an illegal immigrant? (address or email if possible please)

Police. Go to a police station and report them, siunce illegal entry is a criminal offence.

It's not an emergency, so don't call 999. Just go to your local police station or look up their phone number.

Or have a look at the Home Office website...www.homeoffice.gov.uk there should be a telephone number in that.

If you go in person to the police station you may have to give your identity....

But please make sure that you are 100% sure that the person IS illegal as it could affecttheir immigration record FOREVER

I have seen that happening.
I have really least respect for those people who report/ or threathen to report about illegal immigrants.

People use that thing as a tool to hurt some one else.

Its like I could kill you if it was allowed by law.

this is not regarding me im just doing some research. believe it or not even some illgal immigrants do illegal things and make other ppl’s life a living hell. should they be excused?

You can report someone annonymously by contacting the home office, either through their helpline or online. The police will only take the details and file a report and pass them onto the Home Office but won't actually go out and arrest the suspect without the order from the HO.

IF you know they're doing something illegal, by all means go ahead and report em. but dn't report them just coz u know they're illegal immigrants and they're minding their own bzness and not hurting u directly

I've reported a family from our mosque without any second doubts. I dont care why they're here illegally or why they left but the very fact they KNEW the repurcusions of outstaying their visa by two years means I as a citizen of Canada have the obligation to report them.

Once immigration is made aware of them, they can go through a tribunal if they seek refugee status. If their claim is tossed, too bad. Get out. There are many families that attempt to get in legally, and some fail and retry - legally. It's dishonest and criminal that illegals decide to exploit foreign countries.

really?
they are harming others who are waiting to get in legally
and even the locals, they are being harmed because with uncontrolled inflow of illegals, you are getting people in whi may have comrinal records, who may not have teh skillsets that are being sought etc etc.

illegal immigration hurts the illegals, the legal immigration applicants, communities and institutions.

how do u know if someone is an illegal immigrant? I'm assuming the "illegals" in question don't go around saying "i'm illegal , but plz keep it secret" ?

weird, you are doing “research” on how to report an illegal immigrant? One might do research on what illegal immigrants might be doing, evaluate whether they should be deported/reported, their circumstances etc… but your question is just…

when a boy or girl called immigration on some one usually because they got their butt kicked and now they seek revenge.

My own friend called immigration on his ex-wife(on nikah).

Its like your daughter rejected me --- I cant kill you all but I can get you deported.

not something most desis have a problemw it though.
there are legal avenues available, why not pursue them

A person calling immigration authorities on someone who broke the law, does not have t justify himself/herself.

as far as someone;s motives to call the cops, who cares.

Since when did the Brits care about what is legal and what is not, if going into Iraq is legal then whats a few blokes from the old common wealth coming into Jolly Old England going to hurt.
