That is gorgeous! It also helps that her features are uber-symmetrical. It looks like she has extreeeeeemely light bronzer and the blush placement is quite high and it isn’t in the “triangle” under her eyes/by her nose so that way it isn’t competing w/ the lips. The blush looks like a matte pink, very similar to NARS Deep Throat, IMO.
As for the eyes, it seems like she did a cut-crease and smoked out the outer-V. On her lid, a paint pot or a golden base would work with maybe Goldmine eyeshadow on top. And then a very dark brown (almost black) was created in the outer-V (maybe Mystery would work?) and taken into the crease and a red-based brown (Haux looks pretty close) was used to blend it out, and I’m sure some more of the darker color (Mystery) was reapplied so the cut-crease doesn’t look too blent out.
Then there is thick liner, doesn’t seem winged because the eyeshadow is already doing the winging. And the eyeliner on the bottom is mainly kept on the outer eye so it keeps the "cat eye’ shape and of course some wispy lashes which flare more out towards the outer-corner. And the golden shadow (Goldmine) is also lightly placed in the inner corner as a highlight. The brow-bone highlight seems to be a matte shade, maybe Vanilla.
Haux and Mystery:
Vanilla:
For lips, it seems to be a red like Russian Red w/ some gloss over it.
I'm having issues with how that brownish smokey look has been created on the top. The V is defined but not sharp...is it pencil that I need to smudge? I used NYX's black chubby pencil to create a guideline for myself as its easily correctable.
Wow, great job! You actually got it very close! :k:
One thing I’d recommend is to soften the outer edges so it’s “rounded”. So that way the eyeshadow and liner blend in seamlessly. And like I wrote above, the liner on her doesn’t seem winged and the winging/rounding-of-edges was done via the eyeshadow. You should also add in some wispy lashes that flare on the outer corners. You got the lid and the bottom spot-on though!
Oh, and I'd also bring the darker color from the outer-corner into the liner since on her the transition is quite subtle whereas on yours I can see more liner on yours. I would def. smudge the liner more on the outside and add in more darker eyeshadow. And no winging w/ the liner, just rounding using the same darker black/brown shadow!
I think you need almond shaped eyes without too deep a crease for this.
Do the eyeshadow first. Angled or flat square brush and do the bottom/top lining with black powder to get the guidlines. Then the rest of the eyeshadow; you need black on top of everything else and well blended.
It is finished off with liquid or gel eyeliner to further darken/define the top/bottom lashline and add a wing.
You need a dark brown like embark and a maroonish red too for this look.
