Does anybody suffer from having reoccuring dreams? I cannot recall a single time I have ever slept without dreaming something. Most of the time, the dreams are repetitive in themes … similar things happen … strange things. I don’t get why these dreams keep coming … over and over and over again. Perhaps I should call one of these PTV Peers who supposedly have guaranteed results to find out what is up with my dreams! j/k
Well wht are they like?
Care to elaborate just a bit if it's not too personal...
Ok, well there is one dream .... it's very silly but I run around everywhere with only one shoe on. I'm aware of this in my dream and I'm looking for the other shoe but can't find it ... but still go out, etc.
Another dream revolves around me running from something. Literally, running away, jumping on trains, even flying to get away from something. It's very strange but carries out like an action movie. :)
I would ask a psychiatrist but they are too expensive. :)
hahaha...the second one sounds like it may be influneced from action movie images tht ar ejust stuck in your head and well maybe your sub conscious desire to be in one of them.:)
Not sure about wht u are getting away from though.Maybe it's the movie itself where the good guys are getting away from the bad guys,an dit's just playing in your head.
The first one well again similar, maybe u lost one of your shoes once and spent some time looking for it around the house and the brain as weird as it is may have like considered it of some significance.Thts the thing with dreams sometimes, absolutely useles incidents keep resurfacing. :)

maybe ur running away from my PMs :~)
EP, You haven't sent me any lately. :p
No, seriously, my dreams are getting annoying. I haven't watched a good action flick in a while so I don't think my subconscious is mimicking what it sees. Perhaps I do desire some adventure in my life.
I hardly ever remember my dreams. However, I do have one reoccuring dream from childhood. It doesn't reoccur that frequently though.
You know what's weird? A few times, I've dreamed something and it will obviously end when I wake up .... but then a few months later, the dream will actually carry on from where it left off a few months before!

interesting
I too have a few recurring dreams. One of them is about me having really long and beautiful hair .. well I can attirbute this one to my strong desire of having long hair.
And one more is where I can fly, I mean the dream is a real sweet one .. where just like an aeroplane .. I take a long run and then jump into the air.. and there I am flying, amongst the white fluffy clouds.
:)

Wow, it happens with me too .. but not after months .. for me usually the dream continues the very next night.
Another dream of mine deals with high school. I’m back again … going to my usual locker and running around either barefoot or only one shoe on.
I know why I have that reoccurring dream…I have issues from HS.
Anyway, I just find it strange but interesting the way my dreams come to me and actually carry on for months, sometimes with long intervals in between.
Hey, its cool. Don't worry about it. You should read ayat-ul-kursi and the four qul's before you sleep. If you wake up after a bad dream look at your left shoulder, make a spitting action and recite aozobillah-e-minash-shaitaan-ir-rajeem thrice.
i wish i could have dreams!! ANY dreams would be nice for me ! :(
my dreamz are like sequels. they will continue sooner / later but that never bothers me as i'm used to it now. most of my dreams are about high school and my trips to pakistan and new zealand :~)
There can be different interpretations of your dreams. I am not a shrink but as you have mentioned they are expensive therefore I am afraid you will have to live with my analysis.
The pattern in the two themes that you have written revolves around ‘you running’. It seems like you are not the kind of person who would sit in one place and watch life go by. You are not the one who would settle regardless of how much you have accomplished. You are always on the run, exploring new things and your sense of adventure is in your subconscious as well. As for running with one shoe on…I would say that symbolizes the constant pressure you feel from within. The need for continuous motion and no break..you won’t look back or look around if it hinders you from moving forward. Your focus is to move, move and move whether its for good or bad is besides the point.
That would be a hundred dollars… You can pay me by either master card or cash. Merci.
Mehnaz,
check out words “Shoes” and “Running” on this page. They have interesting interpretations on this site. ![]()

Really though same here, any dream would be a treat!
I never have reoccuring dreams - with one exception, every single dream that I have has a unique theme.
The one exception is that I've dream twice about confronting an armed intruder in my house and my being shot in the head and dying as a result.
But even those two dreams happened years apart.
