Reluctantly Ind/Aus 4th Test @ Bombay

I think the Indian batsmen got better pitches when they toured Australia last year....

My prediction is that the Indian innings will fold between 140-160....and the Australians will only need to make 50-60 runs to win the series 3-0.

To be fair to our team, this has been the worst possible set of circumstances in which they played Australia.

Tendulkar and Pathan got injured...all top batsmen(except possibly for Sehwag who is unpredictable) have been rusty and not in form since the end of the Pak tour(looks like the tour drained them totally :)) ...to add to their misery the pitches in Nagpur and Bombay have been terrible...rain played spoil-sport in Chennai when Indians mananged to conjure up a victory possibility....and finally (just for the record ), our kaptaan Ganguram also joined the injury list.

In the end analysis, I believe India paid dearly for a very weak bench strength when compared to that of Australia.

I knew somebody will come along and say that.

Where did I say that not-being-in-form is a good excuse. Never mind.

btw, India 37-2 already.

5th wicket for Micheal Clarke ! 5-9!

India 199-9 Lead by 100 runs

India all out 205

Australia need 107 runs to win ..

Micheal Clarke ends up with 6-9

Australia need 107 runs to win the match.

Micheal Clarke finishes with incredible figures of 6 wickets for 9 runs:k:

Re: Reluctantly Ind/Aus 4th Test @ Bombay

I honestly and truly believe that India should Abstain from playing International Cricket, and play domestic cricket, and try to reach International Standards.

I know people will question how it is possible to reach International Standards by playing Domestic Cricket.

All I have to say to those critics is Practice makes Perfect, and I believe China did something similar in the 70’s (I may be wrong about the period) with their Olympic and Asian Games Squad, and when they came back to the arena, the improvement was there for every one to see.

Look at this current match it is a Pathetic display, no spirit, no application, no discipline.

Today I can PROUDLY (pun Intended) say I am ashamed of my cricket team.

Hopefully Australia will finish off the Game today and save us the Torture of another day.

Ehsan Bhai Khel kar haarte to sabr bhi aata, but this Idiots are just not showing any fighting spirit, I dont want to take any credit away from Australia, but Humari team ne literally platter per rakh kar series unko de di hai aisa mujhe lag raha hai.

^ True. It is a gutless and really pathetic display in all four test matches. But how did so much go so wrong in such a short period of time. This is not the same team which went to Australia and then toured Pakistan. But than true to our sub continent traditions their egos might have got too inflated. Well this should bring them down to earth with a bump. The most stupid decision to me is to go in a test match without two seamers. What next, Kumble and Harbhajan opening the bowling. Some serious thinking required by the Indian board.

Australia 24/2.

Langer and Ponting gone.
