i think there is a misunderstanding here. i said, in India, if i have a poor relative who lives in a poor/bad neighborhood, i would visit that relative. on the contrary, in Pakistan, most relatives don’t visit poor relatives who happen to live in poor/bad neighborhood.

This is such a generalised thing to say. Mainly everyone has relatives (close ones) in villages and small towns and they’ll be visiting eachother without necessarily informing you about it… we have only just seen a growth in a middle class in our country so not exactly a richy rich nation as yet, and hearing someone accusing us of having a norm of ignoring our less well to do fellas is a tad bit insulting and wrong at the same time.
