Do people have extended relatives back in India, family members that decided to not leave at or after partition and are still there?

I have family across the border, but my attitude is, you chose to stay there, so great stay there. I don’t care to know who you are or to keep in touch.

absurd attitude seriously.

We have lot of family in India, at the time of migration only my Grandfather moved to Pakistan, all his siblings chose to stay in India(Gujarat state). Now they all scattered to different parts in India and US/UK. But we are still closely connected to them and they to us. We visit India and have relatives visit us from there.
