Re: Relatives back in India
The decision of living in India or moving to Pakistan was not depending on people’s choice in most of the cases. Who in the world want to leave his/ her homeland where they passed their childhood and where their forefathers were buried except for exceptional circumstances?
As far as ‘I don’t care to know who you are or to keep in touch’ is concerned, do we keep in touch with the our father /grandfather’s cousins and their families, even if they live in same country and city? I don’t think so. The society has moved away from this tradition to keep in touch with relatives. Sometimes, people living away from parents don’t bother to visit them for months. So, in these circumstances your statement become quite irrelevant.
