How could newly arriving immigrants with pretty much the clothes on their back become a flash mob with pitchforks? I find this hard to believe especially when they themselves were beaten and pillaged on the way? If you are so right about the sindhi middle class, then I think that they have really failed the oppressed peasant class in sindh. I know that you hate poonjabis but maybe jiyalas can learn a thing or two from the upward social mobility of the poonjabis.

I agree with you on this, but then why do we negotiate (or think about it) with BLA, BRA and especially the failed negotiations in the past and in the future with TTP who have said that they don’t accept Pakistan? There is just a need of a spark and you would find taliban apologists flooding this thread like a flash flood.

I think what sachaydino said is not totally wrong. Migration of Hindus from Sindh was not immediate phenomenon. It started in January 1948 as the situation was really out of control which lead to first curfew in karachi. Putting all the blame on newly arrived immigrants is absolutely wrong as there were instigating statements by Sindhi leaders on records as well.
