i am not trying to imply ‘woe is me’. Just pointing out what, in MY opinion, feels to be a fact - that Muslims are the most stereotyped-against group of individuals (currently). At one point in history, it used to be Jews.
Now it is the turn of Muslims and Arabs to be stereotyped against. It’s not a ‘woe-is-me’ attitude; it’s simply a fact (IMHO).
Well, your humble opinion is full of excuses for terrorism as per this thread and full of wishful thinking as per your beliefs in general. You can't seem to explain whether he guy strapping he bomb to his waist is doing it for religous reasons or not. It seems that most muslims can't do that. So in the end ...jihad imeans to make a individual better and also to kill a hindu or a jew or a martian of what ever religion or race as a tactic for political end.
The point is that, a hindu and a jew or a martian could care less of what a supposed word of god dictates to a bunch of dersert nomads. If it means that they have to retailate than they should. I fit means that muslims who think of jihad as a personal struggle, need to tell the terrorists to piss off and stop corrupting their religion then, it is their prerogative. otherwise, the world will see jihad as terrorism, as it should. Very funny Nadia. Have you ever lived in Islamic world or read or picked up some mainstream newspapers of the Islamic world? Stereotyping my ass. The term Jew and West are synonymous with robbers, thieves, killers, and whatnot. So before making these sweeping statements as Muslim being the most stereotyped people, look within and in your own community. Statements such as “not all Jews are terrorists, or not all Hindus are bad”, are no different from when someone says that "Not all Muslims are terrorists, but most are”. Just my humble opinion.
I share Matsui’s sentiments, that until these morons and lowlifes are condemned by their own people, it doesn’t matter what stupid Jihad means. They can shove Jihad up their elbow, but then be prepared to have a reverse Jihad declared on them, and they shouldn’t complain when the same is inflicted back on them. US Military Jihad, that is.

These are historical facts.
In 1971 Pak State declared a Jihad against Bangla Muslims and vice versa. Both the sides branded each other ‘Kafir’ and in that 9 months old counter Jihad appr 3 laks Bangla Muslims were killed.
Now one Zakk or Nadia tells me that Kafir means ‘Love’ and Jihad means ‘Peace’, I can believe them but I cannot ignore 3 laks brutally killed.
