Re: Red lipstick
A colour that suits me might not suit you and vice versa. If you're looking for something daring why don't you try " MAC RED" and see how that looks? :)
Re: Red lipstick

Like Soni pointed out: it depends largely on your skin and hair color. What is your complexion/skin tone? Are you warm-toned, cool-toned or neutral-toned in your coloring?
The red lipsticks you come across will be either blue-based, orange-based or neutral shades (which look neither too blue or too orange), regardless of how bright or dark the color; which type looks most flattering on you depends largely on your coloring.

Lots of brands make decent reds (MAC's "Russian Red" and "Ruby Woo" are legendary, and Chanel is no slouch when it comes to red lippies), and certain brands (Besame and Julie Hewett Los Angeles among them) specialize in red lipsticks. Even Rimmel makes a decent red or two (as part of its "Lasting Finish" line). I've worn a fair few red lippies and MAC's, Julie Hewett's and Rimmel's were worth noting.

The definition of " the daring red colour" varies by individual.

Thanks everyone for your comments, I thought this may be the response :)

Fair can mean different things to different people.
Are you warm-toned, cool-toned or neutral?
Re: Red lipstick
NARS cruella.... def a hott one
Re: Red lipstick
sigh red neevr suits me.i look weird.
Re: Red lipstick
Russian Red by MAC is like the go-to red in the makeup world. Gwen Stefani and Madonna swear by it. I have it too and I'm fair w/ slight yellow undertones and it looks great. I just line my lips, fill them in and apply it right out the tube. It's def. an awesome investment.
Re: Red lipstick
go down to MAC, and get them to try a few shades on you ... thats what i did ... and i enden ud with 3 shades that suited me ... its amazing how diff. shades of the same color can do to your entire look
Re: Red lipstick
Did you pick up Russian Red or the second best Ruby Woo?
