Re: Red Flags
This guy I was talking to kept mentioning how he was “basically an heiress” (can I just laugh at the fact that he called himself an HEIRESS instead of an HEIR!?!) and that he didn’t understand why another girl’s dad had been concerned that he didn’t have a job…yeah…turn off and red flag for sure. I think he wanted to sit at his dad’s business and leech off of them forever. And the mom was very “mein aisi hoon, meri family aisi hain.” mein mein mein. That’s all she talked about.
Same guy’s family was told that my dad and mom wanted to take the guy to dinner and tlak with him and he mysteriously …didnt show up. no phone call, no nothing. no explanation. The mommy did the talking for him. and the entire family.
I have a general rule where I don’t trust people that say things like “I’m really trustworthy.” “You can trust me” because they are SUPER SKETCH usually. Same guy (yeah, that guy was CLEARLY a keeper)'s family would always tell us how they were shareef and how everyone idolized their son. The dad emailed me a few times (I talked about it in the other posts) about how he’s “always going to be honest” with me and everyone. and how they could be trusted and we have their word that i woudl be allowed to go to school…
Every red flag was present in them now that i think about it. God save everyone from disgusting, shady, horrible people like that.
