i recently had the opputunity to watch a film called "osama". About a girl who becomes a boy in the wake of her family not having anyone to provide for her family in Taliban ruled Afghanistan!!!

recently (tried) watching two films called "H" and "RPoint".
H was ok. RPoint was painfully slow....It tries to be Apocolypse now...but it fails! good story though!

Le Grand Voyage - French film about a son who drives his aging father for Hajj. Its a moving film, but a bit slow.
