Acting, story, directions, lyrics, music all surpasses the poor production qualities of Pakistan’s film industry, which kept on producing classics till 70s.
Lets discuss and recommend such movies in this thread.
I just loved the acting, treatment and music of movie ‘Zehr e Ishq’. Its a must watch.

We might have seen Musarrat Nazeer singing folk Punjabi songs on PTV, but she was more brilliant actress than singer. Her acting in this movie is simply :lajawab:
No i didn't! Anjuman's story doesn't appeal me and yes I know it got 7 awards and was the most appreciated movie.
There are some classics in Pakistani movies like 'Noor e Islam' having naat 'Shah e Madina' and 'Ayaz' with naat 'Jo hota tera jamal hi'. Islami movies :)

There is a difference between watching them and not liking them and not watching them at all.Which category you fall into? Did you ever try to watch any classics?

yes i watched many of them on ptv but was not impressed, all are very ordinary movies...
Ek chadar meli si was an adaption of Rajendar Singh Bedi's novel of the same name, and so was Muthi Bhar Chawal.
yes, I've read the novel, but haven't watched movies based on it. The novel's story is different from Baghban. That would be another Pakistani movie directed by Sangeeta.
