less than 10% in 3 months is healthy.. rest is too much.

ive seen girls who are 5.4 and they weigh 48 kg, thats is very slimmm but not anorexic look :P and ur 3 inches taller u can easily weigh 55 or more...
@ canadiandesigirl : thanks for the input, I'm 25 so yeh I'll go ahead and add some wholegrain carbs to my dinner or some extra fruits here and there for snacks. The 1200 is pretty rough anyways I usually count actual calories with outside food since I usually eat food from home and as long as I'm using wholesome fresh ingredients and not too much oil I figure the caloric values should be fine. I'm not looking for any short term goals or anything but am working myself towards a completely flat and toned core and reducing my
booty size which are major trouble spots and haven't come down with just regular
maintenance type diet and exercise.
@nisha : you're welcome I have several other plans if you'd like too.
@ neha. I would advise you not to focus on your weight so much. I lost 7 lbs in my 2 months but honestly I wasn't concerned about my weight at all because generally when you gain
muscle mass it will weigh more than fat anyways and therefore it could look like you're not
slimming down but you really are. For your wedding you should want to look good and toned
so focus on the inches you are losing ie measure your trouble areas and continue to monitor. If you're losing 'fat' not weight neccesarily then you'll b able to feel It when your clothes get looser and also see it in the mirror. In two months by following a good diet and getting lots of
exercise you can definitely look nice and toned for your wedding. If you're really gung ho about it you can exercise 6-7 times a week. For me that gets a little exhausting but I know some people who have that kind of stamina and it's all about how motivated you are.
There are many diet plans like liquid diets, cabbage soup diet, lemonade diet, out of which you have to choose the one which is suitable for you. There are fat burning supplements available in the market. But instead of relying on such artificial measures which may lead to some side effects, it is better losing weight fast naturally. Whether you should follow a 1200 calorie diet plan or a 1000 calorie diet menu will depend upon your weight, eating habits, overall health and other factors. Here is a sample diet plan for all those who are confused about how to lose 20 pounds in 1 month.
1-Enjoy a breakfast with unsweetened tea/coffee/ cereal with non fat milk, ½ orange, ½ apple of medium size.
2-Your lunch will be cream of mushroom soup and 1 scrambled egg prepared without oil but with cottage cheese with chive, black beans, half orange and half apple.
3-Have 1 bowl of cucumber salad with vinegar dressing, chicken chow, 1 bowl of non fat yogurt, ½ cup tomato juice or unsweetened coffee as your dinner
4-Eat apples, apricots, red grapes, raw vegetables like carrots in small amounts as snacks whenever you feel hungry.
Drink plenty of water.
This is a plan for approximately 1200 calorie intake per day. **
Do u people think itz healthy and it will work? ..i found this on net..
Guys the thing is you DONT need a diet plan. Eat what you normally eat but just cut out the high fat and high energy products that don't have other nutrients in them. Along with some exercise. If you do this you will automatically reduce your total caloric intake and will be able to add healthier foods to your diet without increasing the caloric intake by too much.
Neha, the diet plan sounds pretty good except very low in carbs just add some whole wheat roti/bread. Cream of mushroom? I'm sure you can do without the cream so have water/broth based soups instead. Good luck!
I usually eat 2 eggs and toast for breakfast. for lunch I do either veggies or fruit salad with cottage cheese.. for dinner something low carb preferably. If you are planning to follow the 1200 calories diet it is important to eat everything but in less moderation so that your body doesn't gain the weight back once you start to eat more. I plan to exercise 3-4 days a week with the biggest loser workout video which is 20 minutes.

i tried this for only one week and i lost 2kgs in one week but after going on all these diets i have come to the conclusion that they are not good for losing and keeping the weight off. so now i am doing an exercise dvd (jillian michael's 30 day shred). i do it daily and its short so i can manage even with 2 kids. and i have started losing inches from my waist, tummy and hips.
