Re: Recommend a diet..

I don't think you need to loose any weight at all. 60 Kgs is fine for your height especially if you are medium built. BUT if you have some problem areas such as abs, hips or anything else then no diet but only gym would help you with it.

Pls. 50kg on a 5'7" height would look anorexic and brides always look nice healthy and glowing :).

Go in a room, lock the door. Eat the key.

No food, problem solved :D

But exercise, you don't have to do much, go on the treadmill, good way to burn calories

Re: Recommend a diet..

if you are really serious, and you have your mind set on losing the weight.....my bhabi started the protien diet, and she lost a lot of weight. She was never fat, but she slimmed down alot.

Basically you can only eat meat and vegetables (but no potatoes, corn, peas, carrots). You can also have cheese (but not milk, yogurt). If you drink chai or coffee, you can only put cream in it (no milk or sugar).

Dont eat any sweets, no fruit (it has lots of sugar and carbs), no rice, no roti, no pasta, no coke or 7up (or any other pop), no potatoes, no corn, no peas, no carrots.

Go online, and look up "Atkins Diet", it will tell you step by step what you can and cant eat!

I am getting married in March and want to lose weight, but I love food too much! I just cant diet! I would rather kill myself at the gym then give up food! But I have stopped eating sweets! and it has helped
a little bit!

Re: Recommend a diet..

oh yah, drink lots and lots of water! I drink 2.5 litres day. and continue your one hour of walking.

Re: Recommend a diet..

I agree with Maham! At your current wt your BMI is 20.7 which is within the healthy BMI range of 18.4-24.9. If you loose 10kgs your BMI would be 17.2 which is underwt for your ht. You dont need to loose wt but as Maham said if you have problem areas you are going need to work on those with exercise. Although it is always good to eat healthy and avoid junk food and want to tone up (for which you need to do strength training). I would recommend that to feel more healthy eat well, drink sufficient amounts of water and be active in your daily life.

Re: Recommend a diet..

Re: Recommend a diet..

Weight loss experts advise against loosing too much weight in short period of time. It is very stressful for the whole system.
Maham gave you the best advice. Pay attention to what she is saying. :smilestar:

Re: Recommend a diet..

^ i want to be v v v slim till my wedding coz us k baad i will have dinners and lunches and foran se i will gain weight :(..is liay mujhay bohat zada slim hona hai ..

Re: Recommend a diet..

:smack: srry but I had to do that…hun you need to be healthy and eat appropriately…just dont over eat at dawats..why make ur self underwt and gain it back…plus if you lose wt so fast…you will gain more back..since it effects your metabolism

Re: Recommend a diet..

neha ... dont' lsiten to the ladies who speak about you being healthy and are the right weight for your heith and you need all the nutrients and all that jazz. You should just try to throw up after you eat everytime and you'll be slim in no time and you'll be miserable and feel lazy and tired all the time because you don't have proper nutrients in your body but who cares about healthy right. You wanna look slim

Re: Recommend a diet..

eat more veges and fruits rather than more heavy stuff for lunch and dinner and if you do eat salad dont pile on the salad dressing, that's majorly fattening. 2 tbsp of ranch is like 160 cals so make it 1 tbspn and try to put other taste enhancers like taco seasoning blend...or similar

or those smartones frozen dinner entrees are easy and are usually low cal and low fat

try to get the calorie intake at lunch at dinner below 200 calories

if you walk on the treadmill, try to increase the incline to 10 or above that burns off so many calories than just walking at 0 incline. just some suggestions that i've tried and that have worked

Re: Recommend a diet..

She lost 20lbs (not kg) in about 2 months time. and its not the healthiest diet, but its not unhealthy either. But once you go off the diet, you will see that you will gain more weight. you have to gradually start eating carbs again.

Re: Recommend a diet..

exactly so why would anyone want to go on any such diet?!? It is unhealthy if you are not eating all the necessary nutrients you need and it negatively affects your metabolism leading to increased wt gain once you stop. Would be easier if you eat healthy and lose wt slowly that you can maintain.
