Ohhhh thanks for reminding me! Actually yeah lemme give credit where credit is deserved… in terms of mithai/snacks Gourmet on CIH in Brooklyn is off the hook. Everything I’ve had from there is awesomeeee! The samosas, bun-kebab sandwich, kheer, mithai, chaat… delicious 
The only thing I dont like is that there’s like no space between teh counter where you pay at and the tables where people sit and eat (ive only seen men eating)… so the “accidental” touches and hushed whispers of nastiness are just so off-putting… Ive stopped going there and just send my BIL if I ever need anything. I remember now, Gyro King on Foster is also pretty good for quick, cheap and yummy fatty rice and chicken goodness. The Village on newkirk where sultan grill is also nice.
They have a mix of middle eastern and pakistani dishes. Not bad at all.
I also loveeee Ali Baba in Queens… they’ve changed the decor up a bit now and its even more beautiful now than before. I love their samboosak and rice platters. Yummmm
