"Recent Visitors" for Blogs

Hi,

My list of “recent visitors” to my blog does not get updated OR I just am not able to see it. I know other people can see my 'updated" list.

I am pretty sure other guppies are having this issue with their own blog, maybe only the ones that keep it private.

I think this thing has nothing to do with cookies waghera, maybe a GS glitch?

Help!

do you see that issue even when you login from another computer?

this viewing facility of seeing every visitor is not accessible to the members. only administration can see the entire list.

so you only get to see the names of the visitors who didnt use “Invisible Mode”

ps. ur blog is private, so what thing are u worrying about.

Oh yeah that is true. Only mods can see even those visitors that are in invisible mode:cb:

I would like to know why someone's name is on my "recent visitor" list and this person is not on my contact list. Why is this person reading my blog? And why is he able to access it?

Ruiner only admins are able to see your blog even though it is private. Mods can see only invisible people that visit the blogs in the recent lists of those people that they are in a buddy list of.

question - so how do you gain persmission to read someone's blog? How do you know it's a good blog to read??

Ruiner, please PM me the name of the person who accessed your blog. Maybe there is a genuine explanation, maybe it was a mistake, or maybe abuse of privilege ... in any case, the issue can be resolved. Lets communicate.

Admins and up can access all the private blogs whether they are part of friends list or not (mind it, there is a difference between 'they can' and 'they should') .. other than that, you have to be on someone's friends list to access a blog or the blog needs to be a public blog.
