thing is, i want to be on safe side.. i dont want to end up looking horrible n cakey on my d-day. this is my first ever experience in a sense that i didnt hav engagement or nikah or smthing, its directly my WEDDING thats COMING OVER!! so again i'd say, i want a valid-in-all-scenerios kind of recommendation to rely upon :)

hi girls...i was at khi for a short trip and i went to three parlours sabs depilex allenora...saw a bride at sabs..and didnt like it..as all i cud see was a very white blank face with dark eyes...on the date of my wedding already 5 brides had appointment...so i just dropped sabs..went to depilex but there too i didnt like the makeup..so at the end i choose allenora...mainly coz i saw they were giving proper time to thee brides and they were really making them feel special..makeup was good...lets see how my makeup goes..will update...I hope it turnsout good ..Inshallah

they are charging 25 for the makeup and 6 for the services...i am just hoping it turns out good..as i dont like the cakey look on the face..hmm will share my experience once i get through the wedding :)

I'm Sidra im new to this forum..i live in NJ..i'm getting married in 2010 summer in july...like everybody else i need suggestions for makeup artists....umm last time i was in khi i got my party makeup done by sonia at sabs..which was ok i guess...i heard abt new allenora by annie mansoor..there's also Zara's by rizwana khan at zamama..nd sabs..bina khan seems like more for valima not for the wedding day...well im definitely gunna visit all these places when i get to khi nd then make my final decision..but i wanna kno if any of u guys had any experience recently??? do let me kno please nd if any of u can email me ur pix i would really appreciate that...

BTW, I saw a bride wearing shocking pink and makeup by Mubbashir. You can go look at his portfolio as well. A guppan was a very satisfied bride and the bide I saw has flawless base and very subtle makeup.

are you sure you can see his portfolio? I wasn't able to when I went, but that was last year...I can only guarantee you that Mubashir is awesome. You wont be in an assembly line, and he really makes you feel at ease. Best choice I made :)
