Allenora or Sabs (karachi)

Please advise ..for bridal makeup in red tones who will be better..allenora or sabs...at karachi...if anyone has had a recent experience with any one of them please share it...thanks girls

I think everyone here will vote for 'SABS'. Even though they make you wait in a line but the base is flawless and their smokey eyes look is the best!

Alle'nora by Aliya Tipu makes larger than life, glossy, glittery brides that aren't appreciated by the GS crowd but gel well with the local desi crowd.

Alle'nora by Annie Mansoor has excellent bridal model shoots but some guppans were put off by the attitude and some had a good experience.

sabs is good..i like their makeup..i will be visiting the saloons in a couple of days.will get first hand info...will probably go to nabilas...i think it is in parktowers..not sure..i just cant decide a parlour widout visitng them...

my vote also goes to sabs.

sabs make up is really nice but attitude...hmmm not that good ..

i also like mona J work. saw a recent bride and she was looking really pretty...will post pic soon

^^ i would definitely like to have a look of mona J. bride.. i havent seen her 'live' bride but her bridal shoots i followed were amazing.. plz post pic soon :)

Also i would like to know if any of GS brides have experienced laiqa hassan's make up.. any pictures will be appreciated! :)

I would love to see Mona J.'s work as well. She seems pretty confident in what she says and does and I esp. liked the makeup session she did on Indus Plus. Haven't seen a real bride by her but I have a feeling she would be comparable to SABS.

Also, haven't seen any** Laiqa Hassan*, **Nina Lotia* or **Tariq Amin **brides as well.

I liked Sab's. My pictures turned out good. That's the most important thing i care about. GOOD PICTURES. Their makeup is photo friendly. My valima makeup was done at some other place, it was stunning in person but the pictures were pretty bad.
Each person at Sab's gave me every bit of their time. Maybe because I was the only bride there at that time plus I arrived early.

really the eye make up is too good!! actually i hv to choose between sabs, mona j. and akif ilyas to have my bridal make up done.. really confused what to do.. :-?? my wedding is in the last week of june!

well june is a wedding session and during the wedding sessions, there are many many brides by sabs and because of that somtimes some bride make up is not done properly..there are also some threads releated to that so plez do browse that ....and plus they take 7-8 hours durning wedding session..so if my wedding was in June or July, i would never go to sabs

Mona J is really nice person..her service is perfect

about akif ilyas..no idea about it..

well sabs and alle nora both are good , i had my bridal makeup from sabs it was too good , but the charges are too high, a friend of mine told me abt a makeup artist ASH HUSSAIN well she works at pivot and she is damn good in makeup she does her pvt work also and the charges are very reasonable , it seems she is not working for money.. check it out

Hmmmm... I wouldn't recommend Akef Ilyas for the baraat unless you are going to wear pastels. He is much much better with pastels rather than red. I think Mubbashir, SABS and Mona J. **seem to be good choices. **Shamain as also good with deep reds.

@E2050.. i have already gone through that thread many times as i was really confused about the salon choice.. frankly speaking, sabs came in my lists after i viewed the bridal make up in karachi thread :) but really this is this one drawback i hv heard frm evryone tht they take too many brides than they can handle which somtimes end up as a mess.. so hav to think abt it as well..

@GUPSHUPLARKI.. can u provide me some pics of her work? where is she located?

@mahismart.. yehi to sub se bara problem hai :( im not gonna wear deep or light reds or so.. it is getting done in magenta tones! such a complicated colour i must say.. NOW what u say??
