well X2 my son was having this prob. he's only 12. the doc didn't know if it was hereditery or some other prob. we thought it was hereditary though but it will come out so soon was a shock.his hairline was reducing from front n he got several bald patches at the back too. we got really worried. unless u go thru it u don't know how it is. u don't want ur kid to get bald at such young age. so yes i didn't hav him a haircut for Months. since his hair growth was almost nil the longer hair covered the prob to some extent. had i got him a shorter hair cut it woud become more obvious.
But Alhumullilah he's much better now. We got him those injections that were injected in his head. it caused him faintness so the doc didn't giv him complete dose but he's now growing hair back in his bald spots n front. i however keep an eye on him. the min i find him scratching his head or shedding hair i use the lotion doc prescribed. and yes he finally got his haircut last month. :)
