Hi Guys i was just wondering if you could share you tips and experiecnes
on how to stop a males hair-line from receding.
What are the most safest and effective ways of making your thinning hairs and scalp strong and healthy again?
All advices appreciated.
currently I am trying that ‘Neeta’s Herbal’ combinations of products that you see being advertised on Asian Channels.
Has anyone had experience with her products do they work or a more of a waste of money?
Hair loss can be caused by nutritional deficiencies and stress. So, reduce your stress level and take a multivitamin and eat a healthy diet of protein/fruits/veggies. Regular exercise is also helpful in reducing stress, promoting circulation, and aiding in sleep. These are the basics for overall health.
There are several remedies you can try from commercial to herbal. Doctors believe that a chemical in the body called DHT is the common cause of hair loss in men. Commercial hair products like Minoxidil and Rogaine are designed to prevent DHT from attacking the hair follicles and can stimulate hair growth. You can easily purchase Minoxidil or Rogaine from your local pharmacy. Or ask a doctor about them. You can also try the shampoo, Nioxin, which is designed to remove DHT.
Another remedy that I personally found effective is a combination of olive oil, mustard oil, and methi seeds. Buy extra virgin olive oil from the supermarket and you can buy the methi seeds (methi daana) and mustard oil from your local desi store. Here is the procedure:
Take an empty but clean water bottle and fill it half way with methi seeds. Then on top of the methi seeds add mustard oil. And then add olive oil. You should use equal quantities of both oils. So, for example, if you use 1/2 cup of mustard oil, then you should use 1/2 cup of olive oil. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE. The bottle should look like this: seeds on bottom with oil sitting on top. Leave the bottle alone for one day. And start applying the oil the next day.
^ Some people recommend applying the oil every day, but you can also apply it every other day. Gently massage the oil in your scalp for 5-10 minutes. And then gently wash it out after an hour. You will only apply the oil...NOT the seeds. Keep this up regularly and you should notice a difference in 2-3 months.
Another natural remedy:
This is an easy accupressure/homeopathic remedy that you can try during your spare time. The nerve endings of our nails and scalp are connected. So, here is what you do. Rub your fingernails of one hand against the fingernails of the other hand for about 5 minutes. Do this twice a day, in the morning and at night. While you are rubbing your nails together.....you will feel a wave movement in your scalp/hair. This is because the nerve endings are connected and the rubbing movement will create blood circulation in your scalp. And this will help in reducing hair fall and promoting hair growth. To explain it in urdu....Aik haat k nails doosray haat k nails k saath raghro. It was a yoga tip mentioned on the Nadia Khan show. And it's easy to do and you should feel a wave sensation in your scalp sometimes.
The chemical product u refered to seems interesting il chek on it right away.
i am alredy using some specific oils, tonic and shampoo treatment so ill think ill keepto that for the present.
But the nail thing, seems cool. I just tried it and i think i did have some tingling action in my head.–:halo:
Hey Gina…thts really harsh of u…i am not losing hair anywhere else but my forehead…c’mon there must be somthing u can sugest…im loosing my hair, who will marry me if this continues.
Does anyone know if ‘Neetas Herbal’ is good or not? Her hair products r all natural aurvdedic non chemical based.
A hair-docter recommended me somthing like ‘finistirine.’
But he said it has a lot of side-effects. He wanted me to sign somthing before using it listing all the potenial health and hormonal side effects that his clinic wouldnt be responsible for.
amir pindi..im not being harsh at all.. oils don't promote hair growth.. and a receding hairline can't be treated with topical applications of anything..
Try some Regaine topical hair solution (for men). It takes a while but apparently it works :) I strongly recommend that you go see your GP. They might do some standard tests to find out the possible cause. Your hair loss may be due to iron deficiency perhaps?
actually ai using 'neetas' herba;' hair tonic for the thinning receding parts. Her oil bottle is just as a genaral nourisher for all scalp use.
Now I think i will see my G.P straight away thanx Mama.
and Missy. That finsteride stuff. Although it works its has some extreme and inreversible side-effects, including on fertility so I seriusly dont think any body shud try it.
C'mon there must be somthing else good aprt from hair transplants.
Ive checked out regain, not trying that.
I want to try something natural, as i am not a fan of chemicals.
Chemicals are usually too harsh to use on u're scalp..and usually end-up burning u're hair follicles.. = no use
Home remedies and oils aren't potent enuff to bring about hair growth..there are soo many people that sell oils and swear they work truth is they don't. - no use
One oil u may try..and tha I've heard great reviews about is the Sunsilk Hair Oil.
Saffron strands soaked in water for 3 days..and then applied to the "bald" area's takes time but works.
People are recomending various products, and each one requires around 3 months of trial, say all of them r crap, i try 3 of them, i will waste the time and probably lost the hair part im trying to save by then.
Currently im on that Neetas Herbal.
How long shud one try a hair treatment before expecting a differance.
I think i maybe be going for her advanced head massge trial next...
and saffron treatment...never heard of that!
clinical back-up?
She said there nothing muchh that can be done for my receding hairline..
She said every man gets it starting at some point of thier lifesome.
And she said none of the shop prdocuts r really proven to work, and in her opinion just money milking stuff.
Gina was right
This isnt fairrrrrrr.
Now im gettng worried about it..serisuly
It isnt that bad at the moment, but stil beter to do something early than later.
Im getting worried what can i do...
if it goes worse, like which who will go out or marry me....
I'll become a girls laughing stock
Gina or anyone else help...
Shud i be right to b worried about this. Is a mans hair a significant feature of attraction for you girls or not?
my advice. crop it short, and if things keep getting worse, get a buzzcut or shave it off. u can start using rogaine to hold on to what u have, and propecia as well, its side effects are not permanent, so u can stop using it when you need to. since you are not married, I dont think it should make a difference right now...should it? :)
