i dont think it's that easy to go and get a transplant because from what i have heard, it makes your wudu invalid.
shay, transplant entails removing your own hair follicles from your scalp and planting them in your own scalp..
ppl who assume transplant making wudu invalid somehow have the view that you can trnsplant anyone's hair into anyone's scalp. and then refer back to statements about it not being allowed to use human hair extensions.
a second misconception is that they take hair from other parts of your body and transplant them on your head, that is not a standard or recognized practice either.
Please correct whoever you heard it from, not only is it incorrect but it is something that is very simple to google and find out so its a little irresponsible for them to be making these statements.

Wuzu is completely valid after ones transplant. Its your own hair but simply getting re-located at the bald spot.

That's right, they take u're hair from the back of u're head.. it's a LONG a painful process.

long yes.. ( anywhere from 4-10 hours..depends how much are you grafting ) painful?... um i dont think so.. since they numb you for that time..
basically any surgery is painful whether it be of any type.. if you are not numb.

Here is where a little warning comes into play, transplant would leave scars. u have limited donor hair, and all transplanted hair do not grow..what the scars look like is dependeant on many things including skill of surgeon and approach used. and which method to remove donor hair was used.
what this basically means is, if u do a transplant and results are not good, or u experience further thinning, your choices get further reduced that u really can not just shave your hair because of the visible scars.
do your research and be aware of pros and cons and have realistic expectations before goign for it.

I appreciate your insights. I am quite serious about this. I think for current what ill do is work on preventing further loss atleast that should be possible. It is that bad at current.
Has any body got tips for 'strenghting/bringing back' current weakening/thinning hair in the receding area. Ill assume that the same tips given earlier apply here too.
However some people r such sleazbags with thier hypocritical advices.

try changing ur doc. go to a specialist. hav u got bloodwork done? if its hereditary u cannot do much but u can still slow it down. i dunno the name but there r some injections the doc prescibed for someone in my fam n it did help. Besides injection she gav some lotion too to prevent hair from falling. But once they r gone u can;t bring them back. Don't giv up on this. just try to find the right doc.
Also cropping ur hair wil make it prominent but keeping longer hair at front will keep it less obvious.

well X2 my son was having this prob. he's only 12. the doc didn't know if it was hereditery or some other prob. we thought it was hereditary though but it will come out so soon was a shock.his hairline was reducing from front n he got several bald patches at the back too. we got really worried. unless u go thru it u don't know how it is. u don't want ur kid to get bald at such young age. so yes i didn't hav him a haircut for Months. since his hair growth was almost nil the longer hair covered the prob to some extent. had i got him a shorter hair cut it woud become more obvious.
But Alhumullilah he's much better now. We got him those injections that were injected in his head. it caused him faintness so the doc didn't giv him complete dose but he's now growing hair back in his bald spots n front. i however keep an eye on him. the min i find him scratching his head or shedding hair i use the lotion doc prescribed. and yes he finally got his haircut last month. :)

My hubby hair was starting to thin on the top of his head... so he's been shaving it completey off for a couple of weeks now, and it's coming back thicker. It's heridatary for him, his father is the same. His father went to do Umrah and got it shaved off every couple of days and it worked for him, so my hubby also gave it a try. Seems to be working so far.

Take Nutricap supplements. there's one esp for men who suffer hair loss. Nutricap is really good but chk with ur doc for better recommendations. i would suggest changing r diet and adding supplements to aid u in preventing faster hair loss in combination with other treatments.
