with all due respect i beg to disagree waleed..
punjabis voted for bhuttos many times…and they did not vote for khan just because he is not a punjabi..actually imran is a punjabi pathan..why didnt they vote for imran? I DONT KNOW…I have some theories but that is what we need to figure out especially in the context of semi urban and rural punjab instead of calling them paindoos, jahils and illiterate and start cursing them…that is all i said!!I used to think along the same lines but that is a wrong thinking, as I see it now.
and i doint think punjab voted for nawaz coz he is a pujabi…i think if nawz screws up this time he will be up for an electoral failure in punjab
similarly pathans have voted for everyone…in last 4 elections, they had PPP, PMLN, Molvis, and ANP…they have voted for everyone and then kicked them out when those parties did not function…
sindhis..well at least historically they always voted for Sindhis..deep sigh
Baluchistan…mostly sardars or a mix..so no trend
