If books are available through legal channels, why not? My understanding is google books for example gives you sampling, but omits lots of key pages

But there are many sites, which provides you latest books for free (mostly in pdf format).. My point was the availability of a new Book online for Free, affects its sales and accordingly royalty of the writer.

I think the first priority of a writer is fame. Online books giving a nice chance to advertisement of his books and some intellectual like me can purchase a book too after reading it online :cobra:

Bhai achi book har koi rakhana chahta hay agar mairi tarah ka intellectual ho :sunnyboy: I ve read many books online but I always keep my favorite books in my library and in my leisure enjoy to read those books. Loadshedding never allow to switch on computer

Thanks for the link Ninja.. Coelho may do this, because he must have already earned a lot. In western countries, a single book can earn you a good amount of money, but the situation is not that good for the writers of our countries

I've downloaded many books, but never able to read a complete book online. Hard copy has some different charm that can't be fulfilled by soft copy. I think, its quite hectic to read lengthy books online.

But I ve some sites and i think its good to share here rather then to PM 
Most of the sites are banned in our organization so now a days its really hard to find and download those books.

Yes it is easy to read hard copy. I only prefer reading online when the book is otherwise not available or not affordable

Book reading is very new habit to me:D I generally go through any book after my "saas" do so :)
