read it....

yesterday in my class we had a discussion abt out beloved Islamic republic of Pakistan and i was shocked to hear what my class mate told me.
we guys being staying in KSA are used to wear nikaab So she told me that when she went to pk she also covered her face with duppata .and on streets ppl were staring like hell .so her mamu told her to take it of as ppl think womens with covered face as prostitutes . so is nikaab becoming an identity for such ppl???
tab say soch rahi hoon:confused:

Re: read it…

what did her mamo tell her?!

prostitutes?!

take the dupatta off?!

:konfused:

Re: read it....

Unfortunately, when it comes to following Islamic teachings in terms of one's appearance, alot of elders in present age misguide their children and such rumours are spread for the same purpose. My intentions are not to offend anyone, as I have seen such people in my relatives as well.

With time I have learned to completly ignore their comments and doing exactly what my beliefs teaches me.

Re: read it…

:hoonh: sAD indeed

Re: read it…

Either yoyr friend or her Mamo is a big liar.

Re: read it....

No you alll people are in saint , its all true what you said ! I know cuz my dad said the same cuz koi fayida nahin pehn ne ka cuz people always staring at you it happend to me , !

Maybe cuz of they identify that youre not from pakistan,

Or maybe mammoo is a big (ghounda) not in mean way . expression .

well i would say the same because it doesnt matta , that you put a nikaab or not.

Just put a dupata out off youre neck , thats all , !

Re: read it…

Um ppl in pak will stare at you no matter what you wear. So yeah go ahead and wear a nikab, but don’t think that the staring is coz of ur clothing…

And how does mama jee know what hte prostitutes wear? :hoonh:

Re: read it....

It is quite irritating to see some people specially the above 50's ones who keep staring at every woman till she disappears in the horrizon.
