Being an Ahmadi, we are both on the same page. Can’t deny this fact.
The difference is the recognition of the personally of Jesus, and Question worth pondering at this point will certainly resolve the puzzle, i.e.
Will he [Isa] be same ib-Maryam or some one similar in task?
If you read the ahadiths carefully, it clearly portrays the two different personalities. Both have different physical features. [if needed, will get ya the reference].
Whatever the scenario may be the thing to understand is WHY will he come? Certainly there is a need of him, Humans are getting corrupted and they need to be revived, that’s what Allahs promise is, He sends Warner before punishment.
Now comare it why he was send in the first place and why he will come again. Just a comparison, nothing compelling.
After Moses, the Hebrew nation was blessed with number of prophets, sent to to revive the original teaching, all were rejected, lastly Jesus was sent aprox after 1400 yrs – same treatment, majory of the Hebrew ummah, rejected him – labeled him heretic, false prophet, persecuted him and his disciples and what not, co-ordinated to put him to death. Just because they were and are still waiting for someone other than Jesus to descend from the skies. Still crying and rubbing their foreheads at the Wailing Wall - for the Elijah to descend from skies.
Compare it dot to dot with Muslim ummah. Mohammad pbuh, established a code of life under the divine guidance, it peaked for 300 yrs then gradually fell, despite of reformers sent at the head of every century. The Ulema in general distorted the teaching and split the muslims into groups and supgroups. Now after aprox same interval of 1400 yrs an ibn-Maryam was sent to the ummah so the islam which is encrusted with dust is revived with the real essence. I don’t have to go in details, everyone knows what not is done to reject this ibnMaryam- Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as. Just because the ulema of our time done want Muslims to be forget that someone will descend from the skies.
Irony is Jews atleast cry for Elijah to come, Muslims dont even want to shed a single tear.

I cannot understand how they reflect their love for Holy Prophet SAW by making Esa AS nouzobillah far greater then Holy Prophet SAW. This is what the stamp of Khatam means....KHATAM in every sense. Holy Prophet SAW was perfect and best among all Prophets and will be and Allah loved him most. Then how come Esa AS can still be alive for 2000 years..fly around...come back down with farishtaas....defeat 4 billion Kuffar...???

Surely there is a need as muslims have divided into 73 sects.and to re-unite them,jesus will have to come as prophecised by Holy Prophet (SalAllaho alaihe wasallam).

Finality of prophethood have no affest on coming of jesus as jesus will follow teachings of Islam and he will be a pupil of Holy Prophet (SalAllaho alaihe wasallam).
According to ahmadiyya belief, Jesus has come in the form of Hazrat Mirza Gulam Ahmad Sahib and the previous jesus (Isa ibne maryam) has died as mentioned clearly in Quran.

In ahadith, Holy Prophet (SalAllaho alaihe wasllam) clearly told that there is no prophet between him and Isa ibne maryam telling that coming Maseeh will be a nabi.Some hadith show that there is no nabi after Holy Prophet SalAllaho alaihe wasllam. But, scholars have clearified that hadith "LA NABIYA BAADI" does not mean that every type of nabuwa is closed.It only means that no nabi will come now with a new sharia.Hazrat Aesha (RaziAllah anhu) Hazrat Shah Wali Ullah,Molana Qasim Nanotvi, and mufti mehmood of Jamia Azhar have done the same meaning of these ahadith.
Also,in quran, we find that a nabi can come after Holy Prophet (SalAllaho alaihe wasallam).

So according to you Mirza Ghulam was Jesus? Did he defeat the dajjal? Was he a just ruler for us as prophesised? Didn't he also claim to be Imam Mehdi, and a prophet? You need to decide what he is first. The previous Jesus has died, and he is the new Jesus? Wow.

No. He was given the title of messiah due to similarity of his role in the ummah of prophet muhammad(pbuh) to the role of jesus(as) in the ummah of Moses(as).

yes. he did. Muslims were at low ebb in those days. Especially in india, not only they were subjected to foreign rue but also vicious attacks were made against Islam and prophet(pbuh) by the missionaries who were state sponsored. Many muslims even muslim ullemas left islam and adopted christianity e.g., Molvi immaduddin became padri imaduddin etc. At that time, the defense was launched from muslims by hazrat mirza ghulam ahmed (as) and yes he repulsed those attacks of pen and speech by similar means.

Yes, he was. He did give rulings in the religious matters of conflict and those that needed attention

What is a Mahdi. It means 'guided one'. by whom. Allah (swt) of course. As per a hadith, we believe that mahdi and messiah are one and the same person. Jesus(as) has his own stature and significance and hazrat mirza sahib was not sent to become a 'new jesus'.

So repulsing the 'attacks' on Islam in the tiny area of Qadian constitutes defeating the Dajjal and fulfilling the prophecy? If so, why wasn't worldwide prosperity for Muslims established? I'm sure any attacks on Islam in those days which you take to be the Dajjal pale in comparison to what the Muslim ummah is going through these days.

remember , you accepted Jesus based on metaphorical sense that the christian missionary is talking about in the videos. Kindly elaborate on that. Im not saying u accept him as son of God, im merely making u see ur reflection in the videos and saying that what u ask of us, is exactly what jewish ask from christians, and therefore rejects Jesus.
