Looking back at your reply to Lusi on the first page of this thread … I see the premise for this discussion. It is true that Isa (AS) will embody the traits to unify. However, from my understanding by him (AS) doing this it will not create another division within the Ummah, that would actually be proof of a false claim to Masih. The Masih will altogether be successful at his endeavours to unite that will be his sign. Forget about smaller grouping factions we believe that the major sectarian differences of Shi’a and Sunni will be resolved and us united.
Isa (AS) will have obvious signs he will not need to debate his authenticity at all. It is easy for a child to realise this, if a person’s purpose is to unite a multitude of many groups, but end up adding one or more groups to the cesspool without actually merging any group in the process … well that would be a failed attempt.
Rather the Mahdi as a separate person who comes earlier will have done most of the ground work already.
