Uncle Rana can only bat like this in domestic cricket or in ICL. Like captain1 pointed out already, he doesn't even have a 50 at the international level in any format.
Imran Nazir's batting form is a huge worry and I was hoping for Pakistan's sake he would get into some kind of form in this tournament leading up to the WC.
Eagles and Dolphins game should be a cracker tomorrow.

I don't think they are playing in champions league twenty20. It would have been awesome though.
it is unrealistic to expect Rana to blast 50s at will in international cricket. he barely gets any time to play when he comes in to bat. in domestic t20, he's been given chances to bat up the order. he did the same in ICL and did well. apart from the batting position, when has Rana gotten a consistent run in the team in the last little while? the poor guy seems to be in and out all the time. seems to always be one bad spell away from being dropped. so unfair...
if he was given the same opportunities as Shahid Afridi, I'm sure he could perform a lot better with the bat than Afridi. that's for sure.

U can keep dreaming about Rana being better than Afridi with the bat. Go back to Inzi's era to see how many chances he has got to prove his worth but always failed to do so.

When you have nothing to say its not suprising you resort to these kind of pathetic and useless tactics. Obviously, how else would you explain Rana's pathetic ODI batting average of 15.87. Even at the domestic level he averages an amazing 22.64 in first class matches with the bat and an even better 21.68 in List A matches. Wow he definetly is better than Afridi. The guy has played 74 ODI's and your arguement is that he hasnt got a proper chance? Yeah, the 117 domestic first class matches and the 164 List A matches he has played isnt a proper chance as well, or he would have averaged way better of course.

Rana hasn't been given chance up the order probably because he didn't show good batting skills in whatever chances he was given, only on few occasions he scored few quick runs. He was looked at only as bowler, his entry into the team was as bowler.

Sarfraz ahmed is an excellent keeper... last wicket stump was excellent. Sami was good with this bowling and captaincy.. Excellent match so far. Lets see how does Karachi reply to Lahore Eagles.

Khalid Latif murdered the Eagle bowlers. I hope 'Saby' was watching...he always says Latif is not a T20 type of batsman. Latif should definetly replace Farhat at the top of the order and open alongside Nazir for Pakistan. His hand eye coordination is amazing...makes up for his lack of footwork. In the last game Latif made 46 of 31 balls and this game 75 of 37 balls. cant get better than this.
CoOlbreaze - I agree with you on Sarfraz totally and that stumping was really good. He took another beauty of a catch as well of Sami's bowling to get rid of Aamer Sajjad.
