Malik threw that match because it was a dead rubber for his team. he was angry that his team didn’t go to the next round. it’s not like he lost a game to not progress in the tourney. he was actually mad that his team had been screwed over by the officials. and vented his anger. even then, that was wrong. he should have been more professional. but it does show how much it hurt him to lose that tournament.

Get your facts right first. He lost because he didn’t want Eagles to advance to the next level. It was not a dead rubber. Sialkot would have advanced to next level had they won on RR base which Malik was unaware of.
