After the announcement, Geo was showing a montage of Makhdoom Amin Fahim saying that Zardari is a friend of friends (Doston key dost hain) and that he fulfills his promise, then playing the song "Kiya hoowa tera waada? Woh qasmain woh Iraadaaa?" :D
So what happens with Amin Fahim?

Yeah I saw that too, quite funny. Were it not for this unacceptable delay (elections were held on 18 Feb!), the newly elected PM and Mush could have reviewed the 23rd March parade together in Islamabad....but anyways it is probably immaterial in the larger scheme of things

Amin Fahim saying on GEO that PPP is his party and he will stay in party and will come to the NA to vote for Gillani.

Well the presidential spokeman Rashid Qureshi gave the impression that they liked Amin Fahim, so I am pretty sure that the Presidency will try to reach out to Fahim in some way if they haven’t made some deal already.

Well I think that's probably why Zardari was on the phone to Altaf Hussain yesterday, and getting the MQM to support the PPP candidate. The MQM has probably been offered significant concessions especially in Sindh. After all it would only take a dozen Faheem loyalists to break away to deny Zardari's PPP the CM slot. Though the MQM is playing a very clever double game, still pro-Musharraf, byt extracting timely concessions from the PPP. No wonder Nawaz Sharif seems pretty angry with Zardaris' approach to Altaf.

Maybe, but it doesn't matter.
Fahim is only known nationally because of the PPP.
Without the PPP, he is a single seat, local leader. Fahim knows this as well as anyone.

Sherry Rehman is tipped to be the new Information & Broadcasting minister in any Gillani government. That will interesting to see.

Only joking but this should teach guys like Fahim and Imran to grab the opportunity with both hands (and both legs I might add) if ever offered something like premiership or any ship in future and not thokar maar such an important uhda in the name of democracy, justice or party manshoor whatever crap that is. It is simply not worth it.
I seriously feel for Fahim, so much qurbaniyan for PPP and yet the party stabbed him in the back

More like trembling because the anti mush camp is now approaching 75% in the NA. Rashid Qureshi issuing statement after statement shows how much panic is there in Mush camp.
He should resign and leave now but knowing that kusi is his first preference he will probably drag Pakistan into another round of confrontation. All the NA needs to do is to restore the judges and let them deal with this illegal president.
