Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
Kashmir isnt India, and any investigation done by India in occupied Kashmir is suspicious simply because all Indians are biased in the case of Kashmir.
You've proven that you are incapable of debating sensibly without name calling.
So go ahead and shout from rooftops, but that does not change the fact that Kashmir is controlled by India and its the Indian government's writ which runs there. And its not my country thats going backwards, so your endless diatribe about India does not really affect me.

What name calling? Did I call you a name?
Your investigators are as biased in Kashmir as Pakistan would be. A good investigation would involve a party that isnt involved.
Why would any sensible person accept a verdict as unbiased, considering the fact that such cases of rape and murder have a long established history of occurrence in Kashmir?

Unfortunately, that is a circular arguement. Whichever side loses the verdict will call it biased. Kashmir is a part of India, and the legal system/investigating agencies will have to be Indian. I know you will dispute the Indian claim on Kashmir, but the ground reality is what it is. India will never accept a non-Indian entity to come in and investigate any occurrence in what it considers Indian territory.
Now, on the positive side there have been cases where Indian security personnel have been convicted for crimes committed by them in Kashmir. So stereotyping Indian investigation as biased and pinning every crime on the Indian security personnel is a bit far fetched.

Anyways.. This is obviously pointless as your not going to examine actual facts.
Read independent reports on Kashmir and decide for yourself. Take care.

My examining actual facts is not relevant, since the investigating agencies have already done that. And what you call independent is what I call biased and vice versa. So lets just agree to disagree on this issue :)
Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
^ Unless the independent reports/agencies are neither from Indian nor Pakistan. IMHO, it does not hurt to check sources outside one's country. While this may not change the situation on the ground, for the sake of discussion here, the more facts one examines from independent sources, the better.

Cheers!
And how do those "independent reports" go about collecting information ?
Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
^ Not sure what you mean. From your posts, you are very bright (way smarter than I am). So I have no doubt you can use your judgment to decide which sources are legit, and which are not. Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn are two sources I would suggest as a starting point.
Have fun and share with us what you learn (if you don't mind). Peace.
Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
Dude, you forgot to mention Arundhati Roy Not sure what part of South India you are from, but I am sure its not so far that you don’t know what really goes on in the Northern part of the country.
Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
This has nothing to do with my being South Indian - so why bring it up? I did not say I don't know what goes on in the Northern part of the country. So not sure why you would assume that. I am sorry if I gave you that impression.
I was just stating one can get neutral points of views if one is interested. Nothing more, nothing less.
Your debating skills are top class - maybe it is not about winning a debate, and more about seeking the truth with sincerity. I say this with no sarcasm. Take care.

Sorry, but thats the impression you give in your posts :)
Re: Raytheon offers ‘radiation gun’ to India to quell protests in Kashmir
^ Can you get specific - maybe cut and paste anything I may have stated that may lead you to believe I don't know what is happening in the Northern part of India? Because I sure would like to know how I am contributing to this misconception.
