Rape.

Re: Rape.

I would prefer to.
I believe i have the right mix(in case she is still traumatized )

Word.

Rejecting a girl because of rape I in my opinion just shows the degrading way in which the guy is thinking. He's also narrow minded enough to judge by the situation. These type of blokes are the kind that would turn a girl down for having broken off engagements in the past-even if the girl was purely innocent.

If a woman has enough courage to tell of her ordeal then she deserves a medal. If a brother is happy to marry her and stick by her then he also deserves a medal for demonstrating not all blokes are sleezebags.

I'd say there are men out there who turn down such ristaas in a 'fear' of what there community/family may say. To those blokes I say if the girl is being this honest about her ordeal with you what the heck do you have to lose?! Finding someone that honest in this day and age is wonderful. It's just a shame of what she has gone through.

I know two women who went through something similar. One chose not to tell ristaas about what she went through. It's caused issues for her. The other one married someone she studied with, and he knows everything and Mashallah they are happy in their lives with two kids-people in their community chatted for a while but when they saw they really were not effecting the couple they moved onto another subject to gossip about. I believe the subject they moved onto was a daughter-in-law who ran away with her stepson.
