Especially today, its a non-issue. Medical tests prove it beyond doubt who the rapist is.

Okay, so 4 doctors can affirm that the semen swiped off the female’s skin is from so-and-so.
Or 4 forensic doctors/investigators can affirm that the DNA taken from a male hair found at the crime site was from so-and-so.
Actually that will be great. More doctors can get paid. :k:

^ Good thinking except most girls who wud get raped wud go home and shower or bathe or something. Most are overcome with emotion and don't think of the "right and practical" thing to do (going to the doctor immediately). Plus, i think after getting raped, it wud be too hard to go to a doctor and let more and more ppl see you and poke at you..

if u r a woman and was raped then under a “just” system u wld be protected..unless proven 2 be a liar…no witnesses needed,
if ur being accused of ilicit sexual relations/adultery fornication, then the accusers need 4 witnesses to prove their case…

^ i think thats correct. i.e. unless the woman is not trustworthy, her identification of the rapist is enough. I have also read the two ahadith posted above, but I cant recall anything about their authenticity. Pakistani laws in this case are obviously not in accordance with islam. Anyway, i'll try to find out more.
