who cares if you are dark or fair...one should judge a person by his or her good deeds and bad...but we desis are all stuck up on silly stuff like color of the skin...shame shame.
I liked rani the very first time i saw her...she is cute and very talented.
For some reason preity doesnt seem like an actress to me...she seems choti moti guria to me.

I think we need to focus on our own industry now too cuz Pakistan needs us more than ever.. plus arab stars arent that bad.. there actually somebody we learn a lot from...their quality programs are actually quite good!

Chiaman... I know.... Imagine if we started to actually buy, rent and drool over our own movie/tv industry... a lot of much need money would finally come in....eventually some decent, educated, well travelled and talented Pakistani would come back and start making higher quality movies(with new modern cameras, better editing, logical plots etc..) thats all it takes.. then the real ball will start rolling as mainstream Pakistanis (cuz Pakistanis are Hot!!!) begin entering the film/media industry.. then you will have something of your own to drool about.. and thats the greatest feeling in the world plus it helps build a seperate identity, revenue, morals, subculture etc... which have cultural effects... Also I dont think we should copy from next door either(India) cuz then you would be copying a copy(which always comes out bad)... we need to be original or at the very least take hints from an original source(Hollywood, Europe, Turkey, China and yess... maybe even the arabs!!lol!):biggthumb

Our tv industry is pretty good. Except for the recent indo-pax projects started by humayun saeed with indian actresses in the lead they’re pretty good and many pakistanis watch them. And those disgusting indian inspired dramas with sadia imam in the lead wearing 30 pounds of makeup and saris 
Our music industry’s very good too and our fashion industry keeps getting better. Plus our music and fashion industries are very original cuz you can just listen to a song or look at an outfit and tell that it’s pakistani not indian(unless of course its a song copied by indians :halo: )
I know i’m a girl but there are still sooooooo many gorgeous actresses and models in Pakistan. And our models dont have the flared noses that many indian models have 
My favorites are Iman Ali, Amna Haq, Amna Shaffat, Neha Ahmed, Rachel Gill, Sara Gillani, Noore, Vaneeza Ahmed, Zara Sheikh, Sandra, Hadiqa Kiani, Sara Chaudhry, Javeria Jaleel. Theres a lot more though.

I dont watch arab tv because i don't understand the language and they don't have subtitles but i listen to arabic music. It's mostly lebanese so lets not give ALL arabs credit :D They have nice music videos and good singers but then so does Pakistan.
I just wish Pakistan had more female singers.

Right on Chiaman… we have sooo much talent and recently it looks like our industry is about to take off… cuz some of the dramas and programs that are coming out these days are pretty good and are a great improvement over the past but Im a lil dissapointed in that they still use the old camera tricks and I havent seen any real improvement in editing. Also, this new trend of mimicking Indian style programs, where they play this weird music and keep flashing (in slow and sometimes fast) motion the persons face over, and over and over again doesnt really suit Pakistani dramas. ANyhow, I hope for the best as always..and were seeing a whole lot of new faces and personality in the industry(looks like its gradually becoming more acceptable in Pak society!) so Im sure you wont be dissapointed for too long in regards female singers but like Ive been saying we need to promote the industry so people are encouraged to participate in it more freely. One of my friends (She’s half Pakistani and half Iranian) is an awesome singer here in Canada and is considering a career in the field, so Im trying to encourage her:halo: plus I agree, the only good arab programs are the lebanese ones, they’re very attractive and really know how to present themselves!

I am sorry if I am offending Rani fans but I must say that she is average in looks whereas Preity comparatively is decent looking..on acting front well both are strctly ok actresses but if I have to choose between the two of them I would go with Preity!
