In the wedding pics thread the girl in the white outfit had the most amazing rani haar. I wanted one so badly but didnt have the time to get one made!

This is a pretty traditional style. Ive got as friend who wore one like this. It belonged to her mum and she gave it to her as a part of her shaadi jewellery. It looked amazing. Thats what im gonna do…get one made and give it to my daughter when she gets married:)

ive never heard of a rani haar! the one in the pic above is really pretty.
i'm wearing mom's choker, and then her chandan haar for my wedding. i looooove it. so vintage!
amani: lol i think you should get one made stat and then wear it for something! like a close relatives wedding or something. or even with jeans and a t-shirt. haha you always mention regretting not wearing it on your wedding day and i think your lil' one is still quite little, isn't she? don't yearn for it while she grows up- just get one already! :)

groovychick, now i am curious as to what chandan haars are like? I tried googling but it didnt work. Wnt you post a pic to show what its like? :D
