KARACHI: Rangers have surrounded Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters—Nine Zero, reported DawnNews.
A heavy contingent of the law enforcement agency has reportedly entered the premises.
This comes just a few weeks after Rangers launched an information-based operation on Nine Zero, detaining members of MQM’s Rabita Committee and seizing a cache of weapons present on the premises.

MQM has denied any relations with Moazzam Ali.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers while raiding a house near Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine-Zero arrested a worker of political party named Moazzam Ali, Dunya News reported.
According to details, heavy contingent of Rangers’ officials raided Mutassal House near Abu Tarab Imambargah early morning and arrested Moazzam Ali whereas also confiscated his laptop.
Moreover, the suspect was transferred to undisclosed location for interrogation.
The family protested against his detention and demanded immediate release whereas MQM has denied any relations with Moazzam and said that the family has been living in the area for many years but Moazzam has no links with MQM.

If it is an ongoing investigation, they can still make appeals to witnesses to come forward and submit their testimonies or any evidence even if the suspect has been charged. It’s a perfectly normal practice. More common in cases aimed at dismantling criminal networks than individuals.
