Ramzan-ul-mubarak FAQs

Noooo, I mean I am gonna chop off yours :bash:

Code bhai lol, agar daarhi laga lee aur aik haath mein tasbeeh aa gayi, sab bachiyan darr kar bhaag jaaen gee :bummer:

Sahar I don’t see any harm in it.

Sadz I guess it’s ok because I myself tried to kill a cockroach this morning lekin woh bach gaya :grumpy: He was away from me, I was like oh what the heck, I’ll let him live during Ramadan (plus I was out of Raid, the cockroach killer spray), but then, he had the guts to crawl towards me and pass by me  I was like ok, that’s it! You have to die now. So I punched him but I think he ran away because I didn’t see his dead body behind the curtain

I do the same :bummer:, but I think you should eat dinner once in a while if not everday.

and those who replied to my question…thank you

commando, when you don't wear underwear

^ Oh thaks. Never knew that one before :mudhosh:

Lussi bhai Why do you not wear your underwear during regular months and why do you want to wear it during Ramadan?

Does anyone else find that their bladder needs frequent emptying in the 2 hours after sehri? :bummer:

Tell me about it !!! I had to pee three times by the time I get to work. Now I know how older people feel at night!

Yes yes yes!!!

I always have to make sure I run to the ladies room before class. The worse thing is if I'm conducting a discussion or something and can't concentrate and have to "excuse" myself.

^ tsk tsk tsk.

I go to the bathroom when I wake up, then after I eat sehri, then after I pray, then before I take shower :bummer: And then middle of the day

Shika, all number TWOs??? Dude, you need a gallon of Pepto Bismol instead of Milk n Rooh Afza at Sehri.

:smack: NO :grumpy:

p.s. Yes

okay the other day i didnt keep roza, coz of watever reasons...so my ammi was really mad about it ...she said that if u just don't fast for watever reason, then none of ur other fasts will count..annd i told her...if our other fasts won't count, then what's thepoint of ever fasting again then? and then my ammi told me to "bikwas band kar" so i did..but i'm just wondering now..plz...someone answer! i'd post it in religion but i'm always ignored there!!!!

Now I'll assume you didn't fast due to the menstrual cycle? If that's true, then your mom's statement "your other fasts won't be accepted" is false. First of all, Allah is the only one who knows what will be accepted or not. You, your mom, or I are no one to decide that. Second of all, Women are not supposed to fast/pray/recite Quran while menstruating, those fasts are not excused, but you may make them up after the Eid.

If you didn't fast just because you didn't feel like or didn't get up on time or anything else, then still, Allah is the only one who knows whether all of your fasts will be accepted or not. I never heard of anything saying that if you miss one, your other fasts won't be accepted.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

well no, that day i didnt fast coz i didn't feel like it......it justmade me wonder what the point of fasting was if no otherswould be accepted ya kno?

I don't think that's true. For example, I am not fasting today because at sehri, my mom's sugar level went really up and she was feeling dizzy and all that, I had to call an ambulance and we took her to the hospital. No one made the food, thus no roza.

You are right here. But to clerify about the importance of Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, according to one hadees mubarika, if someone missed one fast of Ramazan-ul-mubarik without any particular reason (like illness, travel or periods etc), then if he fast(non-obligatory) all his life To compensate for the the loss of one fast in ramazan, it won't be enough.

Secondly, the reward of fasting in ramazan-ul-mubarik is unlimited. And it is known to Allah only how much he will reward for fasting of each day of ramazan. As fasting is only between Allah and that person, third person can not testify if a person is fasting or not.

^ Yep. Thanks for refreshing that. You are right, Allah hasn't told anyone how much reward he'll give to the person who fasts for him and we'll find that out on the day of judgement.

i skipped one day of fast, coz i hadn't slept the night before. I did the no-sleep roza and i broke down and started crying and hiccuping and hyperventilating and going aboslutely pagal, the loud bollywoodish dramatic tears and stuff two minutes before iftar...so to avoid that i didn't fast.
