If you have time, work out right after fajr prayer. I have rescheduled things slightly so that I can go to the gym right after fajr, since I don't have to be at work till 9:00. This might not work if you have to go on earlier.

I am thinking of doing it after Taraweeh. Start at around 10:45 and finish at 11:15-11:30..... lets see how it goes ..... Although i wanted to do it just before Iftar but its not working out because i normally get late from work!!!

^^yea i was gonna say may be after taraweeh would be better. i kno myself and i have no energy whatso ever before iftar although i might try it one day...but yea i think after taraweeh would be best

Why and how would u work out during ur roza or even after? ur barely eating as it is anyway. After I break my roza I cant eat a lot and then go work out??

^^ Just try it. It look hard but it isnt.

But then I guess it also depends on the workout routines that you are performing. My workout is just 2.5-3 miles running. I did that before Iftar without problem and did that after Taraweeh without any problem.

^^ i do crunches and situps before getting up for sehri and ..after going to bed at night... about 50 each time..

before getting up and after going to bed tu you can do even 500 let alone 50 :slight_smile:

khair :hoonh: i did half hour of workout after iftaar…i can feel my poor muscles aching when i go up n down for namaz :bummer: but insh’Allah i’ll have to keep this up

that will be very difficult isn't it ???? i had a plan to start but due to Ramadhan i postponed my plan. But i m gaining weight how to stop it any Suggestion ?????

From last 3 days I am running for 30min just before Iftar. I get back home around 20/25 min b4 Iftar to give me enough time for bath and preparing Iftari. andy936 you can do that too, i will be hard for first 2-3 days but after that it will be easy !

the only working out u should be doing during ramadan should be carried out during the opening of the fast......lowering & raising that spoon......jabbing away with that knife & fork........slowly & consistantly for best results......forget pull ups/bench press and running, thats for pansies.....it's all about cutlery free weights circuit training............

I worked out just once after sehri.
Im to lazy men to work out after iftari lool!!!
